First thing we needed was a strong frame that will combine the neck geometry of the FXR chassis with the required bag mounting points of the FLT.
A call was put out to Paughco with the request for a FLT frame with 35 degrees of Rake instead of the FLT’s standard 26 degrees. Now Paughco has been building frames for longer than I have been alive so I really wasn’t surprised when I was informed that the Frame I wanted to order was available in their catalog as Part #R147AFLT.
