This month I take a stab at LA Choppers Long Boards byBaron Mfg. I contacted Chucky from LA Choppers and he hooked me up pronto!

The boardsare made from high quality billet and are chrome plated. The rubber is top notch too, and the Solid ones areribbed, so they match the OEM passenger boards I all ready had.

But for those who need perfection, Baron makes matchingpassenger floor boards. In the catalog description, they claim to be 2″longer than stock. So you know me, I had to measure. Close enough, almost2″ long and 3/4″ narrower than stock. The boards come complete with everything you need toinstall them and have several mounting positions for you to chose from.
You can bring them out away from the bike, and forward orback where you ever desire.

I removed the OEM floor boards and mounted the bracketthat came with them. I noticed a small amount of play between the new bracketand the mounting struts.

I used a couple of washers to take up the play, bingo,perfect! The rest of the install was so simple, it was almost toofun. Baron suggests using blue loctite on all the mounting hardware, a goodidea for those vibrating twins.
Installation was a snap, and the quality of materials andhardware is superb! The entire install took about 30 minutes, and the finaloverall look was cool, sort of gives the bike a sleek custom look, I couldn’tbe happier!
