Custom Builders From Across the Nation Invited to Enter to Compete in Elite Competition for $90,000 Prize Purse
The Progressive International Motorcycle Shows will launch the third annual Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show, an elite-level custom motorcycle builder competition with new title sponsor J&P Cycles, at the tour’s first stop,in Atlanta, November 2-4. Bike builders are encouraged to enter custom motorcycle creations at any of the 13 show stops across the country for a chance to win a piece of the $90,000 cash purse, more than any builder competition in the world. Five cash prize winners will be chosen at each show, leading up to a the United States Championship finale set to take place at the end of the tour. With more than 500 custom-built bikes on display across the country, the J&P Cycles Ultimate Builder Competition sets itself apart as the world’s largest touring custom bike competition.
“Celebrating its third year, the popularity of this competition continues to grow, allowing attendees an up close look at more than 500 amazing custom motorcycles in cities nationwide, from Atlanta to California,” said Progressive International Motorcycle Shows Brand Director Tigra Tsujikawa. “And for the participating builders, this competition provides national exposure and a chance to share their artistic inspiration with enthusiasts while competing for top prize money. The J&P Cycles Ultimate Builder Competition will host five classes of competition including Freestyle, Modified Harley, Retro Mod, Performance Custom and, new this year, Modified Street. Judging of the custom bikes will be conducted by the competitors themselves, as well as industry veterans with the top builders in each class receiving awards. A ceremony will take place at each show where winners will receive cash prizes and trophies followed by a short interview so attendees can learn the story behind the award-winning bikes.
New this year, the Progressive International Motorcycle Shows will host a J&P Cycles Ultimate Builder Photo Booth where builders will pose for photos in a professional studio with their competition bikes.
