A DEVILISH PARTY– Lucky Devil's “Polish Your Pipes” Bike Wash & Bar-B-Que.
The fine folks at Lucky Devil Metal Works decided to have a party to celebrate their participation in the upcoming “Big Texas Chop-Off” taking place at the Fort Worth Speedway the weekend of September 17th through the 19th. Not having a massive advertising budget Kent and Holly, Lucky Devil's proprietors decided to send out a couple of flyers attached to some e-mails, word of mouth and such and see what happened?
I arrived at the Devil's headquarters Friday evening in time to offer my supervisory and quality assurance skills to BossHamer and the boys. They were just beginning to set up the tents that would become a welcome respite from the “melt you in your boots” Texas summer heat we would be facing the next day. BossHamer had donated the food, as well as the cooking skills needed to feed the group of well wishers, booze hounds and celebrities that would stop by throughout the following day.
Tonight's adventure would be a little different in the fact that we would be joining Danny (a.k.a. Vanna) my lovely photography assistant from the Smoke Out V, at her other, better paying job as head waitress at the St James club. I was treated as a world famous Bikernet.com journalist. I met several of the club's managers, who along with Ms. Vanna, made sure I did not lack of drink. Plus, the major plus, included meeting many of the St. James' lovely ladies, as well as receiving Ms. Vanna led V.I.P. Tour.
I also had the pleasure of being introduced to Hanna, a 6-foot Nordic blonde doll, along with her 4-inch heels. Oh Hell Yea! Where's my climbing rope? Hanna brought along lovely Jewel to party with us for the evening. And while the night was still young I looked forward to the next day's festivities, as these were just two of the lovely ladies Vanna had lined up to assist with the bike wash. However Sara who works with Vanna, keeping folks from being thirsty was also booked to help, the images of her speak for themselves!
Saturday morning found me at Spanky and Vanna's squinting through one partially opened bloodshot eye, trying to decide if three hours sleep was gonna be enough to make it through this day?
The folks from Dyno Plus had already arrived and were setting up, followed shortly after by the R.U.B. truck. Try these products, especially the metal polish this stuff works! (OK, where is my free case?)
Gypsy of Thunder Press fame soon made her appearance. Y'all may remember from the ROT story a while back. She is also competing in the Big Texas Chop-Off. She also hit me with a difficult on-the-job decision. It went something like this:
(Gypsy) What are you doing?
(me) Nothing.
(G) Wanna go to Galveston?
(me) When?
(G) Now.
(me) Why, do you have a job down there?
(G) No, I just want to.
(me) But I need to shoot the party.
(G) I need to go the beach.
(me) Got a place to stay?
(G) No, I have a thong.
I don't remember much after that, but if you had Gypsy and the “twins” workin' you… This is not an easy challenge to overcome no matter how reasonable your lame ass excuses may seem. And yes I know I'm weak when it comes to a woman, not to mention two or three. By the time the oxygen took effect and I became coherent again, the bike wash had begun.
Sara joined Cheryl, another of Vanna's very lovely friends, as well as Vanna herself and Missy for bike-wash chores. Later on, even Vanna and Kent's daughters were recruited to help wash bikes. All of these ladies busted their cute Asses cleaning bikes in the high Texas sun for hours.
When it comes to having fun and taking care of their customers Lucky Devil spared no expense, even bringing in a swimming pool for folks to cool down in. Now that's how you throw a party!!
There was even controversy, which is expected anytime Texans are involved in a contest, during the door prize give away. Three young ladies began to complain that none of their tickets were winners and even hinted at possible misconduct by the Lucky Devil staff. However Luis, from Lone Star promotions, who is hosting the Big Texas Chop-Off was able to solve this issue when he noticed these three still had their entire tickets, having failed to tear them in half to place half into the old boot. Once again the “hanging chad” controversy was diverted and these three were awarded the title of “3 Blondes”!!
The evenings music was supplied by LoneStar Pornstar and by the band Unknown Locals, check out the blood on the bassist guitar and pants from their gig the night before. Is that what they mean by “combat rock”?
The Jack Daniels, beer and margaritas flowed throughout the day. Burnouts, prizes, bands, babes, food, bikes and babes rocked! Ms. Cheryl even did an impromptu photo shoot that evening. Let me tell you boys this lovely doll looked this cute after washing bikes and even getting a little under the weather from too much sun. Look for some additional images of Ms Cheryl to possibly show up in the Cantina in the near future. That's why you cheap shits need to pay the 20 bucks for a membership!
If you did not make it to the Lucky Devil Metal Works “Polish Your Pipes” Bike Wash and Bar-B-Que then you missed one Hell of A Good Time and you can only hope there might be another some day!
Till Next Time
