Are you packing for Sturgis? It’s that time of the year to make our annual pilgrimage to the badlands.
Along the road we finally have time to think without a myriad of distractions. Have you ever watched “Hell on Wheels?” It’s a wild series made in Calgary about building a railroad across the United States, the greed, the corruption and the bad government.
It’s incredible. We are living in another Wild West situation and while you run through the desert toward Dead Wood think why? I have a contention. Two things may have a major impact: Government over-regulation and corruption and a shitty economy. If you can’t make a buck and party, and freedom is replaced by thousands of pages of regulation, what the hell are you going to do? Maybe bad things.
Here’s the crazy portion of the equation: It could be easily fixed by the government, but will they?
