As a fundraiser for troops overseas, the Western Colorado Vintage Motorcycle Association is set to host its annual show in downtown Palisade Saturday, June 1. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the corner of Third and Main streets, and admission is free. Desert Flyer Band, a local music act, will play oldies and classic rock all day.
“There will be more than 100 motorcycles on display, ranging from the early 1900s to 1987,” said event organizer Rick Barnes. “You’re going to see a great history of motorcycles.”
Vehicle registration will run until 10 a.m. Saturday, and it costs $15 per motorcycle.
