Paul Aiken, owner of Aeromach, announced today that although Aeromach is distributing Highway Hawk motorcycle accessories from MotoLux Specialties of The Netherlands, Aeromach is still manufacturing their product line in Charlotte, North Carolina.
"There seems to be some confusion over the addition of the Highway Hawk line at Aeromach", Aiken explained. Highway Hawk's quality products are manufactured in plants overseas and imported into the USA by Aeromach for distribution to dealers and available on line at Aeromach's website.
Aiken added, “This is an exciting opportunity for riders and dealers to acquire the popular Highway Hawk products. They fill a niche in products we don't have at Aeromach. In addition, we are still manufacturing our line of handlebar risers, clutch and brake levers, mirrors, arms, our patented "Cruisin' Pegs" and more here in the USA. We have seen a large number of people who like the fact that the products are made here, including many Canadian and Australian customers."All Aeromach products are CNC machined from T6-6061 aircraft quality billet aluminum. The parts are then hand polished to a mirror finish and then either chrome plated or black anodized.
Aeromach's founder, started manufacturing by making parts for M-1 tanks, helicopters and space shuttle components. When the aerospace industry started to slow down, he constructed parts for his own ride, a 1981 Shovel Head. The company expanded by branding a line of bike parts. Just like so many American entrepreneurs today, he took what he knew and expanded to manufacture a quality product that was recognized immediately by the motorcycle community. Aeromach started to make its mark by attacking the tricky mirror problems Harley Davidson's are famous for; you can't see very clearly in them when actually riding down the road. Aeromach's design team created a line of mirrors that are not only incredibly sharp to look at, but damn it, you can see out of them.
In February of 2009 Aeromach was acquired by Paul Aiken and relocated to North Carolina. Today we strive to carry on the tradition of quality products made in the USA that started back in the early days of Aeromach.
On February 1, 2012 Aeromach became the exclusive US distributor of Highway Hawk motorcycle parts and accessories. Highway Hawk is based in The Netherlands and is celebrating 41 years in the parts business.
