Pirelli will take part in the celebrations for the 110th anniversary of Harley–Davidson, which will be held from June 13 through 16 in Rome, Italy.
Pirelli will set up shop at Lido di Ostia, where most of the activities organized by Harley– Davidson will be held. In partnership with LowRide, the authoritative Italian magazine devoted to the custom bike world, the Rome Nautical Club on site will be renamed the Pirelli Clubhouse for this occasion.
There are many activities planned by the Milanese company for the four days of celebrations. Pirelli's experts and engineers will hold product workshops illustrating the importance of tires on custom motorcycles. Afterwards, attendees can test their knowledge first-hand through demo rides organized by Pirelli with Harley–Davidsons fitted with Night Dragon tires.
The Night Dragons, a new generation of custom touring tires made to meet the needs of motorcycle – particularly Harley–Davidson – owners, are precisely the way to navigate the custom touring segment. They improve grip and stability without jeopardizing the handling and high mileage expected by users of custom bikes.
Guests at the Pirelli Clubhouse can also attend tattooing sessions, where images created by Fashion Tattoo Studio depicting subjects inspired by Rome, will be imprinted on a range of tires. Also on show, as an important part of the Pirelli world, is the new summer collection of Pzero clothing. For those who want to try the thrills of driving a racing car through iconic racetracks around the world, the FORMULA 1® simulator will be available throughout the four-day celebration at the Pirelli Clubhouse.
Finally, Pirelli will be on hand to offer assistance to motorcyclists taking part in the meeting. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase and fit Night Dragon tires at a discounted rate (for example: set for XL 883 Sportster, Hugger, XLH at 189€+VAT and fitting).
