One of the things I do as a motorcyclist is install products, test and evaluate them. Sometimes I even get to suggest changes to make them work better. In many cases I then write articles about them. Sounds like fun huh! Well, actually I do enjoy that part of my life, but there is a lot more to it. In the case of performance products, testing it includes exceeding the speed limit. I do that when conditions allow. An example would be running on the Interstate at or slightly above the posted speed limit and then accelerating to go by a slower vehicle.
