A 100-year old from Eau Claire takes the ride of a lifetime and its all caught on camera. This weekend Carolyn Powers checked off another item on her bucket list, riding a motorcycle for the first time. The 100 year old, who lives at Care Partners Country Terrace Assisted Living, told the staff of her dream to get on a bike. Sunday the father of one of the workers took her on a ride, and her wish finally came true.
“It’s something I had never done and here was a motorcycle and he said he would give me a ride so I checked it off… we just rode down in Altoona and back again you know it isn’t easy to climb on to those motorcycles for me,” says Powers.
Powers, who turns 101 in August says she would like to get back on a motorcycle again in the future.
