Hey, I’m not sure where to start today. I received new 13-inch Progressive 412 shocks the other day for the Mudflap FXR, and I’m itching to install them and go for a ride. I’ll report in. They may be the answer to several questions.
I tried hard to slam a swingarm FXR, and discovered little travel and the chain tasting my oil bag, which is sorta disturbing.
And our Indian project is about to shift gears twice. First I will run a piece on all the Aeromach goodies for Indians, including lower footboard mounts, next week. And the plan now is for me to ride my own Indian to the SmokeOut 16 in Rockingsands, NC. Then, according to Ray C. Wheeler I should ride it home, which will be a Cross-Country.
