JIMS is bringing their renowned specialty tools for American motorcycles to the popular Indian brand. JIMS new Fork Compression Sockets are designed to work on the new Indian Scout model. Socket No. 5802-1 works in conjunction with JIMS Fork Spring Compressor Tool No. 1776 and similar fork spring compressor tools. This allows for safe fork disassembly, without launching parts around the shop. Socket No. 5802-2 mates with the dampener cartridge, preventing rotation when installing or removing the bottom fork bolt. Both sockets are necessary when servicing forks on 2015-present Indian Scout models. JIMS improved on the OEM tool, which had some fitment issues. As an added bonus, these sockets also work on 2017-present Victory Octane models.
