IN SEARCH OF A DRAG RACING SPONSOR–I’m the owner a two-bike drag racing team competing in the AHDRA (All Harley Drag Racing Association). Our number one rider is Derek Nonnamaker. Derek finished fifth in the nation and second in the west last season on a V-Rod Destroyer (which is a sportsmen class). We plan on taking Derek to a national championship on a Pro Modified (Pro class). Also our second rider Sonny Burres will ride our Pro Drag bike. Sonny has over plus thirty year in racing.
In 2008 we will be moving both Derek and Sonny up in class putting Derek on the Pro Drag and Sonny to Top Fuel. Our race program is a rider development program with the intention that all of our riders will be champions.
We are seeking a fulltime exclusive sponsor that has the same ideas, motivation, and determination to develop champions
Thank you in advance for your time and I look forward to working with you in the future.

THE MASTER BUILDERS ASSOCIATION, ANYONE CAN JOIN–Check out this web site http://www.masterbikebuilders.com/becomemember.htmlJeff Starke is involved http://www.masterbikebuilders.com/contact.html
I suggest that anyone interested in joining this organization first check out his background. While in the Melbourne Florida area he bought Harley Motor Works from Dennis Mitchell and there were legal problems.
He was then involved with American Motor Works. There were legal problems and then went bankrupt. After that American Motor Works also went Bankrupt. He ran another shop that was doing 4 valve heads and moved out of the area.
For his problems with business ventures in South Florida check with Nicky Bootz, Ace @ Miami HD, Drew@ Miami HD
I feel that everyone that is considering doing business with him contact others that have before you proceed.I see a lot of names on the main page of the website that I know and like and I would hate to see them burned or have their reputation tarnished.
Hey you are all big boys and girls so you can make your own decisions. Fore warned is Fair Warned

SALT LAKE CITY WITHDRAWS HELMET PROPOSAL– Through the combined efforts of bikers across the country who took time to write, call and e-mail Mayor Rocky Anderson to oppose a Salt Lake City, Utah city ordinance requiring helmet use by all motorcyclists and bicyclists within the city, the proposed law has been withdrawn and the mayor’s office has responded that they have “Abandoned the proposal, due to the immense amount of calls and e-mails both from local motorcyclists and motorcyclists nationwide. We are now looking into ways to better enforce the helmet law already in existence, (for riders 18 years old and under) and require the same for bicyclists and scooters.”
“Now if that isn’t proof that combined, our voices are heard, and being pro-active in the early stages of such a proposal, I don’t know what is,” exclaimed Bill Evans of ABATE of Utah. “Utah thanks all of you who responded.”

The heater is installed but still not vented. Watch, I?ll proceed with venting this weekend, and next week we?ll be hit with a Santa Ana heat wave that will last until the summer. Ah, what the hell.

Tomorrow the Victory Embargo will be lifted and we can show you the newest touring motorcycle to rock the world. If those bastards at Departure Bike Works in Richmond found a computer, we will launch some rare footage of a TLC Bike Build-off. Keep in mind that all the Discovery MC shows are shifting to TLC this year. I?m waiting on a tech on Superco engraving. We have a couple of bike features headed your way and Curt may be shooting another Girl of Bikernet this weekend, if it ever thaws in Denver. I also need to write the saga behind a very rare ?30s original Booze Fighter Crocker. This bike is as rare and historic as they get.
In the meantime, I?m hungry and need a good workout. I?m helping a kid, who is building a cool bobber. We?ve mounted the tank, seat and we?re working on the oil bag. We might wrap it up this weekend. I?ll send you more shots as it goes. In the meantime have a helluva weekend.
