A Go-Girlie Film

Screenplay by Gail Demarco &Chris Sommer-Simmons

The Adventure Begins In 2006

Okay, I’m pissed. We’re just kicking off the no-count, no-win-job or reviewing biker related films and music that’s not biker-relate. Who the hell knows? So we sat down with a fifth of Jack and watched four DVDS the other night. I’m going to touch on two of them, this one and one by the Hessians MC. It’s a good contrast.

This is a promo DVD, like a behind-the-scenes of making of Easy Rider, but there’s no program. Bandit knows Gale and thinks she’s a hottie, so I’m supposed to go light here. It’s my uneducated guess that this was developed to help build support and financing to shoot the real thing. The footage is cool, the cover of the box is cool, but Gale and Chris Sommer had a half hour to tell their story, promote their dream biker movie, explain why were watching the making-of before the flick was released, but they didn’t. So what’s the point? Where’s the passion, the story line that will drive folks to find this movie?

I’m still pacing the fuckin’ garage wondering why this was made. I recently watched a documentary on Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton on the making of some flick in Greece. It explained why the story was made into a film, the relationship between the stars, the problems with the location and the publics’ reaction to the film.

If you need more, want to check the footage or send a check, here’s Gale’s Contact Info: (916) 220-5700.
