Official Girl of Bikernet from 5-Ball Racing Leathers

This was a turkey. Time is an issue around the Bikernet Headquarters. We’re running out of the shit constantly. Budgets are also a consideration, but brotherhood, our readers, and this dinky chopper industry are the highest priorities. So, we faced the following factors. We needed a larger budget to get Brittney to peel out of her duds. We were burning daylight, preparing for Bonneville, and a couple of brothers started a leather company and needed help.

Some wise-ass thought that if we enticed Britney with the promise of old cowhides, she might give up some more skin. We tried everything.

Brittney is a Hollywood broad, but not quite. She has that unreal hour-glass body, the Marilyn blond hair and the spiked heals that make her seem 5’6″ when she’s a tiny 5 foot. It’s incredible to see chicks in photos, then in person. Some of these broads look like a million bucks, but actually they’re tiny little dolls in skin-tight jeans.

The un-Hollywood aspect of Britney was her attitude. We’ve run across models who can’t move, change their hair, or don and new tank-top without a staff of assistants, including hair stylist, make-up artist, or a speed freak addicted assistant. Britney, handled every new outfit herself, smiled and would stand on her cute head if we asked.

So, on with the leather. Torian was kicked off by Bob Kay, a chopper legend, and Prince Najar, the midget Indian fellow with a marketing tinge and a notebook the size of the Yellow pages. These two bros had a dream, to create a line of leather products, admittedly made overseas, but designed with the rider in mind. I don’t want Britney’s shapely lines to be over-shadowed by a Torian sales pitch, but they did a helluva job of putting all the right pockets in the correct positions.

So a couple of years passed and the leather business wasn’t working for the bros, so I introduced them to my apparel guy, Andrew Calegaro who runs Crank and Stroker. They had a heavy meeting behind a curtain at the Long Beach Bike Show. When they emerged, they surrounded me and asked, “Can we change the name to 5-Ball Racing?”

I went for it, and two years later I owned the line. It’s a helluva line and we’re proud to be apart of it. We’ve come along way. We don’t do women’s styles anymore, but we have some neat shit. Check it out.
