Hey,
It’s SuperBowl Sunday and no one will read this news. Maybe not. I need to peel out early, cut a dusty trail. See a girl about something, study the Dharma and watch the game. It’s going to be terrific, or maybe not.
Whatever happens, it’s going to be another amazing day.
BIKERNET BAD JOKE LIBRARY ALWAYS OPEN— a stunning young lady came out of the apartment next to the mailboxes, wearing only a robe. The boy smiled at the young woman and she started up a conversation with him. As they talked, her robe slipped open, and it was obvious that she had nothing else on. The poor kid broke into a sweat trying to maintain eye contact. After a few minutes, she placed her hand on his arm and said, “Let’s go to my apartment, I hear someone coming.”
He followed her into her apartment; she closed the door and leaned against it, allowing her robe to fall off completely. Now nude, she purred at him, “What would you say is my best feature?”
Flustered and embarrassed, he finally squeaked, “It’s has to be your ears.” Astounded, and a little hurt she asked, “My ears? Look at these breasts; they are a full 38 inches and 100% natural. I work out every day and my ass is firm and solid. I have a 28-inch waist. Look at my skin – not a blemish anywhere. How can you think that the best part of my body is my ears?”
Clearing his throat, he stammered… “Outside, when you said you heard someone coming…that was me.”

Quotes
…watching the mystical flicker of the world caught and sealed in the little box everybody called by the diminutive just to express their sodality with it.
Origin
Sodality comes from the Latin word sodalitas which means “companionship,” from the root sodal meaning “companion.”

BANDIT WRITES A LETTER TO THE MRF—
I know I’m a dreamy nut, but I sense a regulatory direction from your reports. I feel like a study should be implemented, the study of the benefits of Freedom and what it means to this country and the world.
If it’s all about control, money, and safety, we are sunk to a life of justification for more AND more regulation. Well, you know the drill. It will never end.
Is there a light in any tunnel?
All the best,

AUSTRALIAN 5-BALL RACING TEAM REPORT— Harley-Davidson versus Indian annual Great Race 2015.
Jindabyne is a town in southeast New South Wales, Australia that overlooks Lake Jindabyne near the Snowy Mountains. Classed, as a service town for the ski resorts Perisher, Thredbo and Charlotte Pass, in summer Lake Jindabyne is a popular sailing, walking and fishing destination. It has also been the base for the past few years for participants in the Great Race, a 23-year-old event pitting mates against mates and marques against marques.
This year there were 132 entrants, roughly divided between Harley-Davidsons and Indians, with the two camps competing to become the overall winning marque. Very early models competing included Chris Wells riding a 1915 Harley-Davidson and Danny Guest on a 1915 Indian.
Despite the event being held in the middle of the Australian summer, the alpine elevation saw periods of heavy rain during the event along with gale force winds which forced the riders to muster even more determination than usual to pilot their old iron over mountain passes that test riders even on modern bikes.
For the first time Bikernet.com was represented by a team headed by Doc Robinson on one of Bandit’s former bikes, a 1948 EL, while Peter McBride was astride his ‘46 Knuck and Brett Johnson was on his ‘49 FL, as was Stephen Fisher on his ‘49 FL.
The event is run over two days and encompasses timed sections, navigational challenges and a rolling race – which is exactly what it sounds, – rolling down hill in neutral, with the engine switched off and the one who rolls the farthest declared the winner.
In the Thursday news we’ll look at the event in a bit more detail and declare the various individual winners along with the winning team. Stay tuned!

DO YOU NEED SOMETHING TO READ—KINGS AND EMPERORS by Dewey Lambdin (Thomas Dunne Books; February 24): Dewey Lambdin’s series of Alan Lewrie Naval Adventures is one of the best nautical series on the market. For fans of historical fiction, the series ranks alongside such greats as Patrick O’Brian and C.S. Forester for its terrific period detail and irresistible hero.
Chock full of action, international intrigue, and popular uprisings, KINGS AND EMPERORS is an intrepid look at the long Peninsular War that broke Imperial France. Lewrie’s right back in the conflict in this sweeping naval adventure. From Cadiz to La Coruna, Lewrie will be there as history explodes!
THE UNCANNY READER by Marjorie Sandor (St. Martin’s Griffin; February 24): Books that tap into the area of weird fiction have a certain power. There are many authors who enter into this realm of literature, and many don’t necessarily fit into one of the many delineated genres.
That being said, I wanted to send you a quick note about an upcoming short-story anthology that takes a look at the unease in fiction and fills in the gaps of genres we commonly know as Sci Fi, fantasy, paranormal, and magical realism. THE UNCANNY READER edited by Marjorie Sandor, features stories that cross borders of time and place written by several well-known authors from the 1800s to today – including Edgar Allen Poe, Shirley Jackson, Jonathon Carroll, and Aimee Bender.

I don’t see how civil forfeiture can or should be legal, it punishes the accused before being convicted of a crime. It’s a system where greedy police agencies and government officials steal what they can for themselves. Their call if it’s ” ill gotten gains ” which most times they will, then good luck in getting any of it back. I believe it’s their way of punishing those who prefer cash, after all its hard to track cash than plastic.
As a general example let’s say 4 friends are going to Sturgis together, they prepay the rooms there before they leave but want to pay cash for gas, meals, drinks, rooms on the way and tips for the lovely redheaded pole polishers you meet along the way. Say 1,500 a rider, that’s 6g riding along with you, get pulled over for anything in bum-fuck anywhere, say a burned out taillight, be foolish enough to agree to a search and there goes your money along with your vacation and maybe your freedom. If 1 in 4 of the estimated 400,000 that went last year payed cash, well then you get a true idea of what’s involved on this one event.
It would be felony grand theft if anyone besides the government was involved.

EVEN ON SUPERBOWL SUNDAY THE BIKERNET BAD JOKE LIBRARY IS OPEN--The owner of a golf course in Georgia was confused about paying an invoice, so he decided to ask his secretary for some mathematical help.
He called her into his office and said, “Y’all graduated from the University of Georgia and I need some help. If I wuz to give yew $20,000, minus 14%, how much would you take off?” The secretary thought a moment, and then replied, “Everthang but my earrings.”

WOW, LET’S HIT IT—life is amazing. We talk about being overwhelmed with projects all the time, but what could be better, unless you don’t complete them in a timely manner.
But we are inundated with projects because we have the resources, we have the time, the friends, the cash, whatever it takes to see them completed. How lucky is that?
I’m not going to jump into describing some of our projects. I’d be here all day. But hang on for the Thursday news and we’ll bring you up to speed on some of them.
Have a helluva day, and be careful if you’re on the road.
