Blustery Sunday Post for February 10, 2013

Hey,

I read Englishman’s editorial in the Feb issue of the HORSE. He made several valid points, but I particularly like this paragraph:

On a personal level, I have a Concealed Pistol License, and I carry my pistol every day. It’s no big deal. Many citizens exercise that right. I don’t think it makes me more of a macho man or some kind of a Billy Bad-Ass. I have a family. I have children and a wife. It is my responsibility to protect them to the best of my ability, That includes protecting myself, if we’re out and some nutcase decides he wants to make some sick name for himself by shooting innocent bystanders at the mall or wherever, I (and probably several others) will be able to do something about it, something other than just cowering in a corner and hoping for the best.

Well done. Let’s hit the news. I have a shop full of half finished bikes and need time on the floor.

THE LAFFING DEVILS WON’T BE LAUGHING WHEN THE DEVILS RIDE RETURNS TO DISCOVERY

Season Two Premieres on Monday, Feb. 18th at 10pm ET/PT

(New York, NY) – Blood, sweat and gears…the Laffing Devils are back and being challenged when THE DEVILS RIDE speeds back on to Discovery on Monday, Feb. 18th at 10pm ET/PT.

Last season, hit series THE DEVILS RIDE introduced viewers to a look inside the world of motorcycle clubs. This season, viewers will get to go deeper than ever before, and to see firsthand the biker war that is coming to the streets of San Diego. The Laffing Devils, which was once one of the fastest growing motorcycle clubs in the city, has recently splintered off into two separate clubs. Now they are going head to head with new, rival club Sinister Mob Syndicate (Sin Mob for short) for honor, respect, colors…and maybe a little bit of revenge.

The leadership of the Laffing Devils is in a complete and utter uproar. LD founding member Danny Boy along with full patch Sandman are butting heads like never before. Billy the Kid has gone MIA and has left the club a mess. And White Boi – freshly released from serving a multi-year prison sentence – has joined the club to the dismay of some and the delight of others.

Meanwhile, Sin Mob appears to be getting stronger and stronger as the days go by. Bubba, Sin Mob President, is an ousted founding member of the Laffing Devils and is out for blood. He’s been expanding Sin Mob with “smart muscle”, and is being backed and sometimes even led by the hard hitting Rockem, a pilot by day, former marine and biker by night who is willing to fight tooth and nail for the life of this new club while pushing it in an aggressive outlaw direction.

San Diego may be big… but is it big enough for both the Laffing Devils and Sin Mob?

THE DEVILS RIDE is produced for Discovery Channel by Bischoff Hervey Entertainment. Eric Bischoff, Jason Hervey and Steve Stockman are Executive Producers. For Discovery Channel, David Pritikin is Executive Producer.

TINMAN’S GIRL OF THE WEEK–
Just guessing, but have to believe this sweetheart ranks way up there, wherever that is. Anyway, thought I’d share. Might have sent one of pics already but I don’t think you’ll protest too much.

Peace Always,

THE RULE MAKER–
Do you know who makes the rules?
As sportsmen, it is absolutely imperative that in all of the sports we engage in, we, without hesitation, play by the rules ……

We take care to understand the rules, we discuss the rules amongst ourselves, and we study the rules …..

As golfers, we are ruled by the rules …
Lord knows there are all kinds of rules in that game …

And as citizens, we must follow the rule of law for so many things we do every day …

But just in case you have been pondering this, all your life, as to whom actually makes the rules,

DIRTY DOM’S KNIFE OF THE WEEK--Double Push Eagle Deadly Dagger

Small but deadly. Comes with custom hand made sheath. Fast to use and fits anywhere.

The Damascus was formed from 250 layers of high carbon 1095 and nickel 200 under 75 tons of pressure. It is dense and light and a thing of dark beauty. Ferguson Damascus is no longer being forged. Dirty Dom is reluctantly offering this blade; the steel will never be duplicated.

Special rare black wood with no botanical name. Was obtained at gunpoint from head hunting witch doctors who would not part with it any other way. The wood is too hard to make simple scratches on. A power dremel must be used to carve tight images or designs. This devilish black wood is lighter than ironwood or ebony and makes a superiorly balanced handle to either.

There is nothing else like it on the planet; Dom has looked.

BIKERNET APPAREL STORE–
A little boy goes shopping with his mother in the Bikernet Apparel Store and is waiting right outside of the ladies dressing room for his mom to come out. While waiting, the little boy gets bored and just when his mom comes walking out, she sees her son sliding his hand up a mannequin’s skirt.

“Get your hand out of there!” she shouts. “Don’t you know that women have teeth down there?”

The little boy quickly snatches his hand away and thanks his lucky stars he didn’t get bitten.

For the next ten years, this little boy grows up believing all women have teeth between their legs. When he’s 16, he gets a girlfriend. One night, while her parents are out of town, she invites him over. After an hour of making out and grinding on the sofa, she says, “You know, you could go a little further if you want.”

“What do you mean?” he asks.

“Well, why don’t you put your hand down there?” she says, pointing to her crotch.

“HELL NO!” he cries, “You’ve got teeth down here!”

“Don’t be ridiculous,” she responds, “There’s no such thing as teeth down there!”

“Yes there are,” he says, “My mom told me.”

“No there aren’t,” she insists. “Here, look for yourself.” With that, she pulls down her pants and gives him a little peek.

“No I’m sorry” he says. “My mom already told me that ALL women have teeth down there.”

“Oh for crying out loud!” she cries. She whips off her panties, throws her legs behind her head and says, “LOOK, I DON’T have any teeth down there.”

The boy takes a good long look and replies, “Well, after seeing the condition of those gums, I’m not surprised!!

CANTINA BAD JOKE LIBRARY OPEN ON SUNDAY–
The police came to my front door last night holding a picture of my wife. They said, “Is this your wife, sir?”

Shocked, I answered, ” Yes.”

They said, “I’m afraid it looks like she’s been hit by a bus.”

I said, “I know, but she has a lovely personality.”

“Hanging myself,” Paddy replies. “It should be round your neck,” says the guard.

“I tried that,” says Paddy, “but I couldn’t breathe.”

Two lrishmen are hammering floorboards down in a house. Paddy picks up a nail, realizes it’s upside down & throws it away.

He carries on doing this until Murphy says, “Why are you throwing them away?”

“Because they’re upside down,” says Paddy.

“You daft nut” replies Murphy, “save ’em for the ceiling!!”

http://adventurevoyaging.com/sounion-tour/

More to come …

–Capt. Woody

Prior to our Sail Greece Adventure, Tania and I have arranged a little side tour for those who are interested. I can’t wait …
Saturday, May 11, 11:00am. Our motorcoach with licensed guide picks us up at the Poseidon Hotel across from the Alimos Marina where our boats lie.

We drive along the scenic coastal road which affords a splendid view of the Saronic Gulf. Passing through some of the peninsula’s most beautiful suburbs – elegant areas of Blyfada, Vouliagmeni, Varkiza.

We will stop for lunch at a coastal spot. We arrive at Cape Sounio where we will visit the 5th century B.C. Temple of Poseidon with one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in the world. On a clear day you can see at least seven islands. The Doric columns of local marble have 16 flutings instead of the usual 34. The precipice is a sheer 197 foot drop to the sea.

We then enjoy a leisurely cruise back up the coast and get dropped across from the boats at 4pm. We board at 5pm.
$49 per person includes bus pickup at our hotel, pro guide and entry fee for Cape Sounion.

The ‘No Colors” mention in the Easyriders show….Iron Order MC? Isn’t that a club of public safety personnel (spell that c-o-p-s?) WTF??

–Lee

Salem, OR

Here’s what it says on their site: Is the Iron Order a Law Enforcement Motorcycle club?

NO, however we do have officers of the law spread throughout our club. We do not run as an LEMC. We run like an MC from the ’50s and early ’60s when motorcycle clubs were clubs. BTW, since when are law enforcement the bad guys? Only criminals believe law enforcement to be the bad guys, so if you want to socialize with criminals or if you are a criminal don’t come around us. That’s pretty simple.

Check out Jimmy Kay of www.twowheelthundettv.com interviewing Paul Kittrell of Lyndall Racing Brakes at the V-Twin show in Cincy.

Canceled all appointments this past week while fighting a head cold, starting to think I might survive the ordeal in better shape, seems a head cold set in the first night home after the contaminated and wheezing flight from Cincy and the V Twin show.

During the weekend in Cincy answered questions about Lyndall Composite Rotors and spent time walking the aisles and thanking our Bikernet Sponsors for all of their inspiration and assistance.

Great way to spend a weekend meeting old friends and talking the latest, hottest, craziest, sometimes-non- rideable-appearing, chromed-out, loudest, brightest, flat-blacked-out, contrast cut, 3-D, slammed, jammed, 6-Speed, 7-speed, Over-Drive, 3-Wheel Machines, mild to wild, motorcycle shit. In between, I watched the Super Bowl and dashed to a welcomed plane ride home.

Thank you V-Twin, one more time.

Coming up our 5-Ball Racing Teams Turbo-Charged Raycer will head to an open air lift for the finishing pieces, suspension at Race Tech, then a dyno tuning session before bolting on the tag and hitting the highway for real seat time. Brad Beach of Beach Racing is finishing his rolling home/shop on wheels and headed this way. I spent the past summer in Morgan Hill, Ca. at Brad’s shop fitting the drive train to the new Rick Tedder, R/T Performance one-off chassis, replacing bearings, bushings. Installing the latest Daytona Twin Tech closed loop computer.

Ran into an old acquaintance from back east, Robert R. Swartz from Gardner, MA. He’s a tuning Guru by Appointment Only @ www.robsdyno.com. Rob is building a Victory for the salt flats this summer and looking for a rider, of course I offered my services. 2013 racing season is booking up fast.

Very exciting life these days and getting better by the day.

With a little help from my friends….Thanks, Thanks, Thanks.

GUN NUT Outrage of the Week–Jesse Jackson Claims Semi-Autos can “Blow Up Railroads”
This week’s outrage comes to us courtesy of the anti-gun Reverend Jesse Jackson. Rev. Jackson is not in the news as much now as he once was.

When you do hear from him, though, his comments are still laced with his usual dose of hyperbole. That predictable pattern continues with Rev. Jackson’s recent comments on semi-automatic firearms.

According to an article appearing on TheBlaze.com last month, Rev. Jackson believes that semi-automatic firearms must be banned because they could “shoot down planes” and therefore constitute a risk to national security.

The Blaze ran a follow-up story debunking the claim, but that didn’t seem to deter Rev. Jackson, as this week he boldly declared that, in addition to shooting down planes, semi-automatic firearms could also be used to “blow up railroads.”

“You know that these weapons can shoot down airplanes, they can blow up railroads. This is really a whole national security issue,” Rev. Jackson said in a recent interview on Fox News. Blow up railroads? What in the world is he basing that claim on?

BREWTON’S NEWS FROM THE TRACK–I continue to talk w NHRA track managers, they all seem very excited about having Harleys in the Show and are agreeable with most questions (especially since I’ve told ’em I’m NOT official in any capacity).

In brief, the consensus is:

You can sell YOUR tee shirts from your rigs (these can not be event specific or have the name of the track on them),

Still working on some type of pre-registration as the tracks want to know in advance how many are coming so they can set up their parking grids (this is probably going to continue to be a discussion with Harley-Davidson-NHRA regional and national, don’t know if it’ll be resolved by TX).

If you have a sponsor who would like to set up on any midway, you’ll need to contract the track directly, otherwise, you can give away stickers and brag on ’em in your pit area.

No fires (not sure that that’s ever been an issue but worth mentioning since it was brought up by a couple tracks).

You will be tech’d at EACH track by NHRA crews.

If you live near an NHRA divisional event track and want to be a part of pre-race publicity it might be easier to let me know to save you some time getting to the right person who sets that part up, BUT you can obviously do it on your own, too. Just be very sweet 😉

These tracks WANT to work w you. They’re psyched and know that we’ll be bringing “our” fans to their events. In fact, AMRA, WMDRA (STURGIS) are also excited, let’s make the best of this formative and changing year.

Hopefully the next calendar will have the official event names and sponsors. When you send out a release, please remember to use the COMPLETE event name.

ANOTHER RIDICULOUS WORD FROM THE BIKERNET UNIVERSITY ENGLISH DEPARTMENT–irrefrangible ir-i-FRAN-juh-buhl, adjective:
1. not to be broken or violated; inviolable: an irrefrangible rule of etiquette.  2. incapable of being refracted.

In any other nation a typical official like Eliav would find himself allied against the priests who insisted upon such irrefrangible law, and even he had begun to echo the warning voiced by liana Hacohen: “this Mickey Mouse crap.”

— James A. Michener, The Source

But no, Kipling never forgets that Kim is an irrefrangible part of British India: the Great Game does go on, with Kim a part of it, no matter how many parables the lama fashions.

— Rudyard Kipling, Edward W. Said, “Introduction,” Kim

This Baroque era word irrefrangible derives from a negation of the Latin root frangere meaning “to break,” also the root of the word “fraction.”

Gun control is at the forefront of President Obama’s political and social agendas. He is aided and abetted in his efforts to ban guns and magazines by a willing, fawning media. A recent Media Research Center article documents that, in the wake of the horrific murders in Newtown, Connecticut, the “Big Three” news networks (ABC, CBS and NBC) quickly moved to exploit the tragedy, pushing for more gun control legislation while mostly ignoring solutions that respect gun owners’ Second Amendment rights.

Stories in which the networks advocated more gun control outnumbered stories opposing gun control eight-fold.

This always surprises me. I’m always surprised when a newspaper supports helmet laws. The Free Press portion of the constitution will be next.—Wilburn Roach

Why Does it Cost So Much at the Dealer?

http://www.bikernet.com/pages/story_detail.aspx?id=10905

Your article was well written. We spent over $10 grand last year in training and even more in the latest equipment required for diagnostics. Here in CA. both workmans comp insurance, health insurance and garage insurance are on a constant rise.

A good tech is worth the overhead to get the job done right the first time.

I can’t tell you how many bikes we repair from other shops who put the riders life in jeopardy simply because they didn’t know how to lower a bike properly. The rider on the street assumes the person working on the bike knows what they’re doing and that’s not always the case. Bottom line is if the job your getting quoted is too good to be true there’s a reason. You’re only on two wheels with a lot of cage drivers around you – the last thing you need is a mechanical failure.

THE MOVE TOWARD BIOFUELS GROWS–
By Sam Harper, Guest Editorialist

The recent Iowa Renewable Fuels Association conference included two speaker panels. The first called “More B for Me” addressed the use of Biodiesel. One panelist was a large producer, who doesn’t use anything less than B5 in the winter and uses B20 the rest of the year. He doesn’t have injector or injector pump issues using these blends. When he has used the low sulfur diesel alternatives, this was a constant expensive problem.

A second panelist owned a small bus transportation business. They insist on using as much Biodiesel as possible, although when they get out of the Midwest states, finding it gets more difficult.

A third panelist was an economist from Cardno ENTRIX. His firm just completed a study on the Impact of Biofuel on Iowa Agriculture. He explained that Biofuel production takes waste products like white grease, tallow, etc and makes them into a usable commodity. Despite critics that think it raises food prices, biofuel production doesn’t use food items. He illustrated how the Biofuel production added from $44K to over $130K to an operation in Iowa depending on its’ size. This was due to higher grain prices, increasing uses of by products, subsequently making them more valuable. The study is available through the IRFA web site.

The last panel discussed E-15 and included Scott Zaremba of Zarco 66, and Jim Becthold of Linn Co-op Oil Company. Scott has been in the family oil business in Lawrence, KS since the ‘60s. He recently was elected as president of the Petroleum Marketers and Convenience Stores Association. Additionally, he is the regional chairman for the Petroleum Marketers of America. Wait, isn’t that “Big Oil”?? Who invited this guy to the RF summit?

Oh yeah, Zarco 66 was the first station in the country to put in E-15 pumps. Zaremba was perplexed that the government allows E10, E30, E50, and E85. Why is E15 so darn hard?? Some of it has to do with warranty limitations that are put in owner’s manuals. That has to be addressed by the automakers.

Jim Becthold has worked for Linn Co-op Oil for 24 years. They have added blender pumps as well. They also offer E-15 now. Both of these panelists know how fuel retail works. They also can see what direction stations need to go. Blender pumps. Both panelists said if you want to sell gas as a retailer, you need to get into the blender or flex fuel business to stay in the game long term.

There are hurdles of course. Retailers have to see demand from the public to have interest. This comes back to that consumer education that other speakers had referred to. Also, vehicle manufactures need to hear the call from consumers. They are ready to make cars that have flex capabilities. They have a mandate to produce 54 mpg vehicles. Ethanol will be a component for this. Zaremba also replied to a question about motorcycles and small engines. He said that is still problematic. Motorcycle and small engine manufactures are not on board. He says absolutely don’t use over E10 in your marine motor, motorcycle, or weed eater as they can’t take it. But they soon will need to.

Lucy Norton of the IRFA added one other interesting bit of news. Megellan Petroleum, who supplies Iowa with fuel in their pipeline, has made the decision to stop the delivery of 87 octane gasoline to Iowa. They will replace this with 84 octane gasoline. This means retailers will have to add ethanol to the gasoline to get back to 87 octane. IRFA suggests this will give retailers an opportunity to add E85 to blend in their fuels.

After listening to the impact that renewable fuels has on Iowa, the nation, and the world, it seems that renewable fuel sources like ethanol are a no brainer. Like the last eight presidents have said so many times….Now is the time to use the technology that we as American possess, use the ingenuity that were blessed with, the resolve that has made us so great, and embark on a new time where we have a level playing field for our energy sources. Become that independent country we almost were a century ago.

Maybe Iowa should become the first state to pass legislation that would make us an open fuel source state, bucking the federal 90% mandate. That would surely ruffle the feathers of the eight or so U.S. senators and their big oil buddies that keep the rest of the country in this “petroleum stranglehold.”

UTAH LEGISLATORS ABANDON MOTORCYCLE HELMET BILL–
By Lee Davidson
The Salt Lake Tribune

Motorcyclists managed to run over and kill a bill in the Utah Legislature that would have required them to wear helmets — and did it before the bill was even introduced.

Sen. Todd Weiler, R-Woods Cross, said Thursday he abandoned the effort — which had been earlier publicized in the news media and criticized by motorcycle groups — after discussing it with the Senate Republican caucus. “It was clear that I don’t have enough votes to pass it.”

That came before the bill was formally introduced. Weiler said he decided not to seek a hearing, which he said likely would have attracted scores of people on both sides, because “I don’t want to put on a sideshow when I know that I can’t get it through.”

He said “personal liberty is always the objection” from groups that feel a mandatory helmet law contradicts the spirit of the freedom of the open road — and some conservatives who like to preserve as much freedom from government intrusion as possible.

But Weiler has argued that helmets save lives and dramatically increase safety, and save taxpayers money by preventing big medical bills that the state may end up paying.

Over the past decade, about two of every three motorcyclist fatalities in Utah have occurred among riders who were not wearing helmets — an average of 17 such deaths a year.

Weiler said he will likely attempt the bill again in the future. “My core values have not changed,” he said.

Why doesn’t his core values support personal liberty, the very center-stone of our country?—Wilburn Roach

WHAT IS A BUTTY BUDDY?–
The ButtyBuddyMotorcycle Seat Company has patented an ergonomic seating concept which in a matter of seconds, retrofits over small preexisting motorcycle passenger pillions. Studies have shown that proper size and support are essential for long term riding comfort.

Necessity is once again the mother of invention! “It was always obvious that when gals rode on back of the best looking bikes that there was a real problem” said inventor Bob Goin in an interview, “there is nothing fun or relaxing about riding in pain, but at the same time, my passion was building and riding custom bikes, the only thing my friends and I would be seen riding on. The last thing you want on a nice clean ride is a big ugly seat… you might just as well have saved all the money you spent on chrome and paint!”

Much too often, Bob would find himself riding his favorite ‘Bad Boy’ custom all alone because, you guessed it, it had one of those small rear seats! Having been a motorcycle rider since the sixties, Bob was well acquainted with passenger misery. “More than once I have seen ladies literally crying from the pain, and often refusing to get back on the bike” commented Bob, “I have even experienced gals looking for a pay phone to call someone to come pick them up in a car!

Then enter…..Butty Buddy to solve the problem of a pain in the butt!

ATTENTION FREEDOM FIGHTERS–
If you have been following Washington States SB5143 and the expert testimony of
ABATE, BOLT, COC/USDefenders, Veterans United and WRRA to the Senate Transportation Committee on January 31st, then you know the we had the best representatives from the Motorcycle Community speaking to the issue of helmet repeal. Clearly we raised the interest of the committee members.

Now it is you turn!

We need it spoken loud, clear and often that we are expecting our Helmet Repeal Bill to reach the Full Senate for a vote.
Out-of-State callers are welcome too. The Tourism money is important to the WA economy.

See the list of legislators below, and how we expect them to vote in commitee.
The Chairs of the committee are the key bringing the bill up for Executive Action so that it can be voted on by the Senate body.

The Red-Light Remedy (SB5141) and the ‘Sharrows’ bill (SB5263) have both been ‘exec’d’ out of the Senate Transportation Committee and are heading to the Senate Floor for a vote.
It appears that these bills are nearly half the way to the Governor’s desk for signature into law.
Soon, we will be able to proceed through a malfunctioning traffic signal when the detection loop fails to recognize our presence. (SB5141)
We will also have remedied a glitch in the law that makes it illegal for a motorcycle to pass a bicycle in the same lane of travel. (SB5263)

Still being held hostage is the Helmet Repeal bill (SB5143).

I urge all of you to respond to the CALL-TO-ACTION that was sent out on February ,6th.
It is very important to let the Senate Transportation Committee know that we want the ‘FREEDOM of CHOICE’ bill to be voted on by the full Senate.

ARIZONA MOTORCYCLE LAWS, BIKERS JAM CAPITOL FOR PROFILING BILL– By: Associated Press

PHOENIX – A hearing room filled with patch-wearing motorcycle club members broke out in cheers Wednesday as an Arizona Senate committee passed a bill requiring police to take training highlighting a ban on profiling of motorcyclists by law enforcement officers.
The unusual sight at the state Capitol was prompted by a bill attempting to address complaints from motorcycle club members who say they’re frequently stopped by police for no legitimate reason. Republican Sen. Judy Burges of Sun City West is the sponsor.

Ken Mei of Phoenix, president of the local chapter of the Peckerwoods Motorcycle Club, said the treatment he and his fellow members receive from police makes it obvious they’re being singled out.
“The other day me and a friend of mine were out riding our motorcycles, and we got pulled over by a highway patrolmen, two city (of) Phoenix policemen and a helicopter,” Mei said after the hearing ended. “We didn’t receive any citations, anything. They basically wanted to know about our patches.”

That kind of story was heard repeatedly during the hearing before the Senate public safety committee, said Sen. Chester Crandell, the chairman. The bill passed 4-0, with the three Democratic members absent, but Crandell warned the cheering bikers that the bill still has a long way to go before it becomes law and needs major changes.

The executive director of the state board that certifies police officers complained that the bill would make it more difficult to train officers.
“It prohibits law enforcement action in certain situations,” said Lyle Mann of the Arizona Peace Officer Standards and Training Board, known as AzPOST. He said officers are trained to take action based on reasonable suspicion and probable cause from a totality of the situation, and writing a hard and fast rule is not workable.

The bill would require AzPOST to include courses emphasizing the prohibition against stopping a biker for riding or wearing club colors, or questioning or searching them based only on those factors. Republican Sen. Judy Burges of Sun City West is the sponsor.

For Rick Rodriguez of Glendale, a member of the ALMA Motorcycle Club, changes can’t happen soon enough. He said harassment of patch-wearing bikers by police is rampant.

“It’s not illegal to be an Elk, it’s not illegal to be an Eagle, it’s not illegal to be a Shriner, a Knight of Columbus,” he said. “We wear collective marks, we ride motorcycles, that’s what we like to do. I understand the average Joe citizen doesn’t feel our plight. But when they get done with bikers, who are they going to pick on next?”

STRANGE DAYS—Damn, last night while drinking Jack with Doc Robinson, I was inspired to tell you something downright provocative. Now I’m at a loss. Just about the time I hit the article launch button it will come to me.

I’m excited to jump into the shop and start putting my Mudflap girl back together, but I’m trying to upgrade or fix every little detail before I fire her to life.

My hotshot ignition switch notion is being replace with a Digital Dawg keyless system, then I will install their security system. It works more proficiently than the —- system at half the cost. First of next week we will launch another World Run Chapter in the Cantina, and I will launch Rogue’s Zipper’s cams install, then I’m determined to finish my Midnight Rider tale. Plus we are working on the Ride Wright Wheel article.

Actually Doc inspired me with a notion regarding my precarious oil tank. It rides too close to my drive chain. I made a Teflon bumper, but it wore down in less than 2000 miles. I need to fix it, and Doc suggested a skateboard wheel system. It will spin so it won’t wear so much. I’ll check it out.

A reader wrote about Big Bear complaining about their increased publicity now that they are back. I’m hoping they will succeed and take care of those who lost out. If they don’t succeed, they can’t take care of anyone. We are working on a feature around this Redemption from Big Bear. Hopefully the bad blood will subside as they move forward and prove themselves.

Ride Forever,

–Bandit
