Frank Capone still maintains the points leads in the AHDRA Pro Mod Class. And he still supports the sport with Tee Shirts which will be "fired" into the grandstands at the next AHDRA Ohio Nationals presented by the Ohio Bike Week Nationals presented by the Northern Ohio Harley-Davidson Dealers Assoc at the Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports Park, Norwalk, OH. (Home of the $1=1 pound of ice cream—YUMMMMM, love those Baders).
And if that's not enough, Capone and team will be trying to double their track side efforts with a NEW addition addition to the stable a 155CID with a magic NOS powered button on a Browne Frame chassis at Norwalk to compete in the Rush Racing Products Pro Gas Class. There are still a few parts on back order but Capone will be entering uncharted territory by joining a class which so far this season has been dominated by Keith Browne'sTurbo powered, family built and maintained bike which has been tapping on the 200 mph mark and is so close to the 7 second mark it would make less confident racer stay home til next season. BUT less confident is not an attribute familiar to the Capone team.
"We're going to use the balance of the year as a building and shake down season for the Rush Racing Products Pro Gas Class. We're almost ready to give Keith and the other Rush Pro Gas guys a couple good runs, but look out for the 2013 season," says Capone. I'm thinking that's kind of a challenge.
