BRAND NEW BIKERNET BAGGERS READER COMMENT–

I used this kit because a buddy changed to a gear drive setup. You need a dial indicator and a few extra gears to change the crank pinion gear or the rear inner cam gear because you may need to go oversize or undersize on those two gears to get the tolerances between gears right. If you get the gear drive together and you have a noise like noisey lifters, you have to go back in there and change a gear or two undersize or oversize.

If you don’t happen to have those gears laying around you will have to order them (roughly a hundred bills each) and wait until they are delivered. Gear dive is good but requires a little more set up time. This kit gets it all right from the start.

FLORIDA STUDY SHOWS CARS CAUSE MAJORITY OF MOTORCYCLE ACCIDENTS–

North America News – September 2013
In the last few years, motorcycles have become a popular mode of transportation around Orlando and it is common to see these two-wheeled vehicles on the highways and neighborhood lanes around the city. However, motorists often view motorcyclists as a nuisance and fail to give them the respect and space they need. When this happens, motorcycle accidents are often the result.

In 2010, the Florida Traffic Crash Statistics Report revealed that there were over 8,000 crashes involving motorcycles around the state that year. Over 7,400 injuries were sustained by motorcyclists, 376 cyclists were killed and 767 passengers on motorcycles died.

Motorists not paying attention

According to the Sun Sentinel, motorists feel that motorcyclists are reckless and motorcyclists feel that motorists aren’t paying attention, thereby colliding with motorcycles. A study conducted by the University of South Florida’s Center for Urban Transportation Research shows that motorcyclists have a point.

The study, which examined motorcycle accidents during a period of ten years, showed that drivers often fail to yield the right of way to motorcycles and driver distraction appears to be a major factor. While there are many motorcyclists that cause their own accidents, motorists are responsible for the majority of crashes. In fact, the study reveals that motorists are found at fault for 60 percent of collisions involving cars and motorcycles.

Sharing the road

It is important for motorists to understand that motorcycles have a place on Orlando’s roads and building an awareness of the presence of motorcycles can be an effective way to reduce the number of bikers who suffer serious injuries each year. Some of the things that drivers should be aware of include:

Motorcycles are smaller in size and therefore can be difficult to see – drivers should be aware of this around other vehicles, signs and buildings.

Always look twice before turning left or merging into traffic!

Avoid distractions in the vehicle such as a cell phone or food, which may prevent a driver from seeing a motorcycle.

Drivers should always alert motorcycles to their intention by using turn signals.

Motorcycles should always be given their own lane and space.

Motorcycles move and operate in a different manner than cars do. Motorists should educate themselves on these differences so that they understand why motorcyclists behave the way they do.

Seeking compensation

When a motorcyclist is involved in an accident with another vehicle, their risk of being severely injured or killed is great. This is not surprising since they only have their helmet and protective clothing to shield them from harm. As such, motorcyclists may lose income and incur thousands of dollars in medical debt.

If you have been injured by a motorist in a motorcycle accident, you should speak with a qualified and experienced attorney to understand what your legal rights are.

MEET THE MACHINE GUN PREACHER AT SMOKE OUT 2016–
Sam Childers, known as the Machine Gun Preacher, overcame a life of drugs and violence to embrace Christianity and wage a 13-year war to free enslaved children in Northern Uganda and Southern Sudan, Africa.

Sam’s life was portrayed in the movie, “Machine Gun Preacher,” where Sam was played by Gerard Butler.

Sam will be hanging out at SO 17 and meeting the chopper jockeys at the rally.

Childers is known as the “Machine Gun Preacher” because he says he fights, often with an AK-47 assault rifle, against the infamous guerrilla leader Joseph Kony and the rogue Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA), whose war crimes have left thousands of African children orphaned.

Childers writes that he has “rescued more than 900 refugees of all ages. More than half of them were children who had been captured by the Lord’s Resistance Army.” He founded a group called Angels of East Africa, and he writes of “leading a rescue with an AK in my hands and a pistol on each hip.”

Come by and meet the Machine Gun Preacher at SO 17 – Secure your tickets today.

WEST VIRGINIA Lawmakers Override Veto–
Permitless Carry ‘Becomes Law In 90 Days’

On March 4, the West Virginia House voted to override Governor Earl Ray Tomblin’s (D) veto of permitless carry legislation and on Saturday, March 5, the West Virginia Senate followed suit.

On March 4, the West Virginia House voted to override Governor Earl Ray Tomblin’s (D) veto of permitless carry legislation and on Saturday, March 5, the West Virginia Senate followed suit.

When Tomblin vetoed the legislation–House Bill 4145–he released the following statement:

West Virginia’s law enforcement officers have dedicated their lives to keeping us safe and helping us in times of need, and it’s disheartening that the members of the Legislature have chosen not to stand with these brave men and women – putting their safety and the safety of West Virginians at risk. It’s unfortunate that the concerns of officers from every law enforcement branch in the state, including the West Virginia State Police and university campus police officers, have been ignored by today’s action.

But lawmakers who view the requirement of a concealed carry license as a burden on the exercise of Second Amendment rights saw things differently. WSAZ 3 reports that the Senate override the veto by a vote of 23-11.

The override means persons 21-year-old or older who are not barred from gun possession will be able to carry a gun without permit and persons 18-20 years of age will be able to get a concealed carry permit to carry a gun.

Permitless concealed carry “now becomes law in 90 days.”

CRAZY HORSE ENGINES ARE COMING BACK—
I’m putting together a tech with my Crazy Horse Power 100 engine, but needed some info. I reached the new owner of American V-Plus:

Below is what I got in response to your question about the breather valve.

Early CH engines had the breather valve. At a later date it was decided to do away with the breather valve and let the crankcase vent strictly by the pressure and vacuum created in the crankcase by piston movement. To my knowledge, all the later CH engines were set up in this manner. The crankcases can be corrected by machining in the breather valve bore and installing the valve.

I cannot say whether he has a breather valve in his engine or not, so I really can’t answer his question definitively. There is no bottom end breather in the engine. All crankcase breathing is done through the top end. Wish I could be more help on this one. You would have to pull the cam cover off to determine whether the engine has a breather valve or not.

Please let me know if this was helpful and if I can answer any other questions.

LOBBYING THE OPENING SESSION

A.B.A.T.E Members To The Capital To Fight For Rights For All Road Users
(March 14, 2016) A.B.A.T.E. of Louisiana members visited the legislature in Baton Rouge, La. on March 14, 2016. Over 93 members of A.B.A.T.E rode en masse to the Capital, roamed the halls, talked with representatives, and sat in on the Joint Transportation Committee hearing.

The A.B.A.T.E. members were recognized by the chair-man of the Joint Transportation Committee as they literally filled the Meeting Room 5 of the Senate Transportation Committee. Despite the weekend of flooding in north Louisiana, A.B.A.T.E members from that area still attended in force and made their presence known to the House and Senate members.

Over 1,2OO new laws were intro- duced and many of them were A.B.A.T.E.-sponsored bills. It was announced during their visit that Glenn C. McGovern, V.P. of A.B.A.T.E.’s G.N.O. Chapter who worked with Senator Gary Smith and Representative Stephanie Hilferty, had Senator Smith and Representa- tive Hilferty jointly introduce the Louisiana’s A.B.A.T.E.- sponsored All Road Users Act, S.B. 171, which will be heard in the Senate Judiciary Committee C in April.

This is exciting news as A.B.A.T.E. of Louisiana has for years been trying to get a bill passed to protect motorcyclists who are killed or maimed by motorists. Under present law, such motorists who kill or maim motorcyclists usually get a $100 ticket plus court costs instead of a suspension, revocation of their license, a substantial fine, probation, and jail time.

SB 171, introduced by Senator Smith of St. Rose and Representative Hilferty of Metairie, would change the law to protect all motorcyclists, bicyclists, scooter operators, skateboarders, farm vehicles, and handicap persons in electric wheelchairs. A.B.A.T.E. is working to make the community safer for all non-caged road users.

A.B.A.T.E. of Louisiana’ s mission is lobbying for motorcyclists rights and education. A.B.A.T.E also has a Share the Road Program it puts on for new student drivers to foster motorcycle and truck awareness. It is the only motorcycle organization in Louisiana that actively lobbies for motorcyclist’s rights.

A.B.A.T.E. of Louisiana is reaching out to all motorcyclists to join A.B.A.T.E. in helping to protect motorcyclists. Also, we ask that all motorcyclists write your legislators a.s.a.p. to urge the support of SB 171, the All Road Users Act, and appear at the hearings in April, 2016 at 10 a.m. when the hearings of the Judiciary Committee C will be held.

This story is but one example of how A.B.A.T.E. is working to make the community safer for all road users.

Why Louisiana Needs To Adopt The Model Vulnerable Road Users Act For All Louisiana Public Road Users–
Over the last five years there ihas been a disturbing increase in the fatality rate caused by careless and distracted drivers of cars crashing into pedestrians, bicyclists, motorcycles, disabled persons using electric scooters and other “non-cars”.

Pedestrian fatalities are up 17.9% in the last five years. Bicyclists hit by careless car drivers have risen 112.5% in the last five years. Motorcyclists hit by careless car drivers fatalities have risen 12.7% in the last five years. Louisiana was fifth highest in the U.S. for bicycle fatalities in 2009-2011. Bicycle usage has increased very rapidly and will continue to do so in the future.

Motorcycle usage varies with fuel prices, weather patterns, and the economy. Motorcycle, scooter, and moped use is expected to increase in the future. The elderly and handicapped use of motorized scooters crossing streets is another increasing trend.

Oregon was the first state to adopt a Vulnerable Road Users Act to reduce traffic crashes of cars into vulnerable road users such as pedestrians, bicyclists, motorcycles, the handicapped in electric scooters, skateboarders, and slow farm-implement-type vehicles.

Since then, 17 states have also greatly increase penalties for careless and dis- tracted car drivers.

In Louisiana, if a car driver kills or seriously injures a bicyclist or motorcyclist, for example, and the car driver does not flee or is intoxicated, the car driver will usually be issued a $100 misdemeanor ticket for failure to yield. The car driver usually has no injury but the non-caged road user’s injuries are almost always death, brain damage, multiple fractures, or other serious injuries.

After three years of efforts getting signed petitions and letters to senators and representatives, and speaking to various vulnerable user’s groups — bicyclists, motorcyclists, handicapped and elderly groups — I enlisted the support of Senator Gary Smith of Norco and Representative Stephanie Hilferty of New Orleans to introduce SB 171 the All Road Users Act, an identical version of the Model Vulnerable Road Users Act 5,6 that just passed thru the Senate Judiciary Committee C on April 12, 2016.

After hearing the stories of a handicapped person further crippled when her electric scooter was hit in a crosswalk with the truck driver receiving a $100 misdemeanor traffic ticket, a widow whose motorcyclist husband was killed by a careless drug-impaired car driver who received a $100 failure-to-yield traffic ticket, and several bicyclists that were injured or lost friends to fatal bicycle-car crashes with the car driver receiving a $100 ticket, several of the committee members approved the bill and several committee members signed on as co-authors of SB 171.

UNCLE MONKEY ON HIS TRUCK–

After seventeen years I finally had to say good-bye to my good old truck. I bought it new right off the delivery truck all those years ago. I worried about the quality of the truck, for the first couple of years, as it seemed like it encountered one mechanical thing after another. Some of it was me being picky of what a new truck was to be and sound like.

But as it closed in on its end of warranty the truck seemed to straighten itself out. That was the last of the troubles I had with it until recently. It finally begun to wear out, a part here, a rebuild there. It was the point where my money would be better spent on a newer truck.

Everything I was putting into it wasn’t increasing the value and wouldn’t repay itself down the road. Its one thing to drop $3000 fixing a $15000 truck but totally different when the truck itself is only worth $3000.

This wasn’t the first time I thought about getting a new truck. For the last ten years I’ve been shopping for a different truck. Somehow I just never ended up pulling the trigger. Maybe it was windows for the house, maybe it was another motorcycle, maybe whatever truck I looked at was a major step down in what I would get.

Now, pushed to get a new truck it was finding the right truck at the right price. Buy new, buy used? How new, how old. Eventually I came across the truck.

Lots of us go through this at one time or another. Maybe it is that old Softail you’ve been riding for decades; maybe it is that bagger that is rolling up on a million from criss-crossing the nation. It’s time for something new. You keep an eye out kicking tires here and there. You back out of sweetheart deals, because it just isn’t your old dependable bike.

You spin the wheels on the new ones at the demo rides. You vow you’re not putting another cent into it but the sun rises and falls over and over until you get to the place I was.

An opportunity to get something different, a little flashier, a little darker. When the chips finally fall into place there is a new bike sitting in the driveway, a virtual twin to the old one. Now, do you keep the old one, sell it off to the next guy to deal with the aches and pains of it? Maybe you do like I did with my old truck and pass it over to my son. After all you don’t want some stranger driving your baby.

-bad Uncle Monkey

THE BIKERNET BAD JOKE LIBRARY IS OPEN FOR LUNCH–
A frog goes into a bank and approaches the teller. He can see from her name plate that the teller’s name is Patricia Whack.

So, he says, “Ms. Whack, I’d like to get a loan to buy a boat and go on a long vacation.”

Patti looks at the frog in disbelief and asks how much he wants to borrow.

The frog says, “$30,000.”

The teller asks his name and the frog says that his name is Kermit Jagger, his dad is Mick Jagger, and that it is okay, he knows the bank manager.

Patti explains that $30,000 is a substantial amount of money and that he will need to secure some collateral against the loan.

She asks if he has anything he can use as collateral.

The frog says, “Sure, I have this,” and produces a tiny pink porcelain elephant, about half an inch tall. Bright pink and perfectly formed.

Very confused, Patti explains that she’ll have to consult with the manager and disappears into a back office.

She finds the manager and says, “There is a frog called Kermit Jagger out there who claims to know you and wants to borrow $30,000.

And he wants to use this as collateral.
She holds up the tiny pink elephant. “I mean, what IS this?”

The bank manager looks back at her and says, “It’s a knick knack, Patti Whack. Give the frog a loan. His old man’s a rolling stone.”

(May 4, 2016) – Without a doubt, one of the hottest Mothers’ Day gifts of 2016 will be this week’s release of Coat Of Many Colors, the movie that was based upon the 1971 classic song from Dolly Parton. To get fans geared up for the release, the Country Music Hall of Fame member stops by this week’s edition of The Pickup to discuss the film.

Parton’s not the only performer making news this week. Willie Nelson, Chris Stapleton, and Jamey Johnson all take part in a special tribute to the late Merle Haggard, and another icon – Charley Pride – begins his 50th anniversary year by announcing a big tour.

Among the newer stars featured on The Pickup include a look at Kip Moore’s recent sold-out trip across the pond, while Brett Eldredge marks his fifth straight number one hit with “Drunk On Your Love.”

The recent passing of Prince sent the music world reeling, and his influence was felt among Country Music performers as well. Veteran hit-maker Deborah Allen discusses her collaboration with the singer on her 1987 song “Telepathy” – plus Martina McBride teams up with HSN to promote her new album Reckless with an exclusive performance – all on this week’s installment of The Pickup.

Check out the latest episode of The Pickup here: https://www.viewbix.com/v/The-Pickup–32/0d64b893-114b-47ba-8fd3-40324a54eef5

ABOUT THE PICKUP:
Launched in early 2015, The Pickup, a syndicated country video news series produced by The Hot Seat, highlights today’s stars and classic country artists making news today. New episodes are posted on the 1st and 15th of each month. The Pickup can be seen on the websites of broadcasters across the country (Nash Icon, HankFM, Midwest Communications, Zimmer Communications’ 94.3 KAT Country, etc.), online media blogs, the U.K.’s SKY Television, Heartland Network, and Sandy Zimmerman’s Las Vegas Television Network.

MRF REPORTS–
ABATE of Wisconsin defeated vulnerable users bills as well, as recently as last year, I would guess you could say we lobbied HEAVILY against
them as well.

We have had discussion with ABATE of LA and they think they are on the
right path, good topic for MOTM Legislative session and especially after
Meet the States.

But as you know the MRF will not take a public position against an
SSMRO, doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have that discussion with them, the
Pro’s and Con’s

We should discuss this “Vulnerable Road Users” issue at the upcoming
meeting.

In Massachusetts, we’ve been lobbying heavily AGAINST including Motorcyclists, with the argument that we are licensed and registered vehicles, where bicyclists and pedestrians are not. Those who seek to continue to quell our freedoms prefer to call us “vulnerable” and thus enforce additional safety requirements upon us, not limited to helmets, graduated licensing, and other issues the NHTSA and AMA have
been touting as beneficial to motorcyclists.

THE MAGNIFICENT HOME OF THE ARCH MOTORCYCLE RECEIVES EPA/CARB APPROVAL FROM THE DICTATORSHIP– Arch Motorcycle, the “ultra-premium” American V-twin manufacturer co-founded by Gard Hollinger of LA County ChopRods fame with Hollywood actor Keanu Reeves, has had its first production model certified as emissions compliant by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and California Air Resources Board (CARB) in the United States.

This means that their KRGT-1 is now road-legal for sale in all 50 states.
Powered by a proprietary S&S Cycle T124 Twin Cam style 124 ci/2,032cc 45 degree downdraft, fuel injected V-twin, Arch Motorcycle is no “celeb-fest” boutique bike building ego trip – this is serious contemporary production V-twin motorcycle design and engineering from the top drawer. With the help of S&S Cycle and other collaborators, Arch Motorcycle is doing it, and doing it right.

SENA partners with Sisters’ Centennial Motorcycle Ride–

July 3-23, 2016

Cross-Country Journey Commemorates
100th Anniversary Of Van Buren Sisters’ Historic Ride

The Largest Women’s Motorcycling Event of 2016
One Hundred Years, One Hundred Women

Sena Bluetooth solves communications needs for Sisters’ Centennial Motorcycle Ride Sena Technologies, Inc., the global leader in bluetooth motorcycle communication systems, has partnered with the Sisters’ Centennial Motorcycle Ride enabling ride leaders real-time communication between ride leaders, support vehicles and support staff. Taking advantage of Sena’s latest technology for motorcycle riders, all ride staff will now be connected through a variety of Sena Bluetooth products.

“Sena is thrilled to support the Sister’s Centennial Motorcycle Ride by being the official communication system of the event,” said Tae Kim, CEO of Sena Technologies, Inc. “These passionate and fearless women are paving the way for a future generation of riders, and we’re proud to do our part in keeping them safe and connected while riding.”

“An event of this magnitude has so many moving parts it seemed a daunting task to keep our large staff communicating effectively, yet Sena Bluetooth worked with us not only to determine our needs but also worked out a great solution for us,” said event organizer Alisa Clickenger. “With nearly twenty staff members riding motorcycles and several more in chase vehicles, we now have a solid solution to keep everyone in touch and working together seamlessly.”

Scheduled July 3-23, 2016, the AMA-sanctioned event is a cross-country motorcycle ride for women commemorating the 100th anniversary of Adeline and Augusta Van Buren’s historic ride across the United States from New York to San Francisco. The event will conclude with a group ride in to San Francisco on July 23, 2016, where festivities will celebrate the event completion and riders’ accomplishments.

“This was a phenomenal accomplishment by two courageous women at a time when few roads were paved, post-Victorian attitudes were in full flare and women did not yet have the right to vote,” said Clickenger. “This ride is intended to honor their achievement and promote the growth of today’s female motorcyclists and the motorcycling community.”

Women have several options for participation, including a fully supported tour, as well as self-guided tours of the entire route or individual segments. Registration is open on the event website at www.SistersMotorcycleRide.com.

http://bikernetbaggers.com/pages/Custom_Vehicle_Operations_By_The_Book.aspx

Every year Harley-Davidson unveils new Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) motorcycles and we journalists wait with baited breath. These incredible bikes are all hand-built rather than line production. They are assembled in limited numbers, at a premium price, and we get to ride them.

The 2016 CVOs are decked out with amazing paint, a powerful Screamin’ Eagle Twin Cam 110 dripping with bling. This year’s Street Glide is an absolute CVO stunner. Shimmering metal flakes in the Atomic Red with Candy Apple Flames adorn this year’s Street Glide.

THE EVER-CHALLENGING BIKERNET WEEKLY NEWS for April 28th, 2016

Been watching your fight with the city over your building. It’s a damn shame when they want to shut down a thriving business bringing money into area. It’s all political. They want your property for some other BS or to line a contractors’ pockets.

The city up here pulled the same shame up here. LOWES was going to put in a store just outside city limits. Bull dozers started working the property. Then city extended city limits to include property and the BS started. Close to 10 years later LOWES is building a store but in different area in city limits.

CAR DRIVERS CAUSE MOST CRASHES WITYH MOTORCYCLES, STUDY FINDS–

For motorcycle riders, people in “cages” — those driving cars and trucks — bear a disproportionate share of the blame for the high number of motorcycle crashes on South Florida roads.

“The increasing number of motorcycle accidents is greatly due to distracted drivers on cellphones,” said Michael Gluckman, of Delray Beach, who has been riding for 13 years.

But people in cars traditionally have pointed to reckless motorcycle drivers careening in and out of traffic for putting their own lives at risk.

“These guys are always making statements that everyone should watch out for them,” said Don Cosby, of Fort Lauderdale. “I feel like they don’t watch out for themselves very well … You see [bikers on sport bikes] cutting in and out of traffic. Very few ride in a reasonable, safe manner. They’re pretty reckless.”

So who’s mostly to blame when four-wheel and two-wheel vehicles collide? According to a recent Florida Department of Transportation study, bikers are right. Motorists driving cars and trucks are mostly at fault, often failing to yield the right of way to the smaller vehicles.

In analyzing 10 years of Florida motorcycle crashes, Chanyoung Lee, a senior researcher at the University of South Florida’s Center for Urban Transportation Research, found that 60 percent of the time motorists in other vehicles are at fault when they collide with motorcycles.

“There’s a bias by people driving,” Lee said. “They don’t expect to see motorcycles.”

But the study uncovered more: When looking at all motorcycle crashes, motorcycle operators bear a lot of responsibility as well. They have a significantly higher number of single-vehicle crashes than other drivers. That is, they crash on their own without other vehicles involved.

Some 34 percent of motorcycle crashes involve one vehicle, according to the study. Compare that to only 19 percent of car crashes involving one vehicle.

THE BIKERNET BAD JOKE LIBRARY IS OPEN FOR HAPPY HOUR —

Last night, I was sitting on the sofa watching TV when I heard my wife’s voice from the kitchen. “What would you like for dinner my Love?… Chicken, beef or fish?”

I said, “Thank you dear, I’ll have chicken.”

She replied, “You’re having soup, numbnuts. I was talking to the cat.”

Pirelli Riders Prepare for Monster Energy Supercross Finale in Las Vegas–

– The final round of the 2016 Monster Energy AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, is set to take place at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas this Saturday, May 7. The glitz and glamour of the Vegas Strip will transfer to the confines inside of the football stadium as the star-studded field of riders prepare for bar-banging action. For the first time this season, the Western Regional 250SX Class and Eastern Regional 250SX Class will compete head-to-head as they battle for the chance to earn bragging rights.
pirelli lv preview.jpg

It has been nothing short of a stellar season for the BTO Sports/WPS/KTM veteran Justin Brayton, who continues to hone his sharp skillset en route to impressive performances. Last weekend he tied his season-high finish with a fifth place and will look to finish the season strong in Sin City this weekend.

Fresh on the supercross scene for 2016, rookie Benny Bloss is coming off of his first-career 450SX Main Event, which helped him gain tremendous experience as he continues to fill-in for the injured BTO.

Sports/WPS/KTM riders Andrew Short and Davi Millsaps.

The Autotrader/Monster Energy/Yamaha squad started the season slow due to unfortunate injuries, however, a late season surge witnessed both Weston Peick and Justin Barcia claim their season-high finishes. Peick currently sits inside the top-10 in the championship and the California native has a history of turning good results on the slippery West Coast soil. Barcia is a former winner of the 250SX Class in Las Vegas and he is determined to find the same success he had back in 2012.

TPJ Racing has consistently put in strong performances throughout the year, including multiple riders making the 450SX Class and 250SX Class Main Events. Nick Schmidt carries an astonishing 15-consecutive Main Event streak, while privateer Alex Ray is in pursuit of his ninth Main Event start of the season.

Motorcycle Superstore Suzuki will have Kyle Cunningham (250SX West) and Jimmy Albertson (250SX East) pitted under the awning this weekend when the 250SX Classes face off. Cunningham is no stranger to navigating the tricky hard-pack desert soil and has turned some of his career-high finishes inside Sam Boyd Stadium. The team will be offering a special opportunity for those in attendance to sign up for a chance to win a set of Pirelli Scorpion™MX32™ tires and other cool prizes.

Matt Bisceglia will be the lone rider for the MAD Racing/Dirt Candy Graphics/Suzuki team as his Australian teammate Luke Clout recovers from a broken femur suffered earlier this season. After landing the all-new SCORPION™MX32™PRO its first podium in Monster Energy Supercross, Bisceglia is an underdog heading into the weekend aboard the No.32 machine.

Supercross action from the Sam Boyd Stadium gets underway on Saturday, May 7, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. PT and can be viewed on FOX Sports 2 between 7-8 p.m. and FOX Sports 1 8-10 p.m. Check local listings for channel information.

NEVER GIVE UP— You can’t. I can’t. And when you don’t go shit happens. I feel very blessed to be doing what we do on a daily basis. That’s not good enough. I’ve been on the search to do a better job for our audience and customers during our 20th year.

I’ve asked a lot of questions. I’ve received some answers I didn’t care for. But I kept asking until finally this year more solutions surfaced and more opportunities. The Triking Viking helped a great deal. Then I reached out to a former web master Jason Douglas, and he shinned a different light on the solutions. “Bullshit,” he said and hooked me up with a specialists. “Talk to this guy.”

Bottom line, we will seriously improve the flow of Bikernet. Bikernet Baggers and Bikernet Trikes, and our blog will become more integrated into Bikernet. That’s just the tip of the iceberg.

For most of us this is sorta smoke and mirrors, but it will make everything flow and that’s cool. Then we will become mobile friendly. Then who knows…

In the meantime, my next book is very close to completion, but I asked the Redhead to check the titles and she started to read the whole book.

I’m about two minutes away from diving into a tech about this new Biker’s Choice Evo ignition system.

Here’s a shot of the Grapevine after a mudslide. It is the passageway from the Los Angeles basin to the central valley and north to Oregon. I’ve been over this so many times. So, are we writing a story about it. Hell no.

Hang on, it’s never a dull moment around here.

Ride Free Forever,

–Bandit
