SUPER MAX SAVE THE PULLEY WORLD– SuperMax is proud to offer the worlds only option to repair worn out metal rear wheel pulleys. SuperMax can replace the teeth on most factory and aftermarket 61, 64, 65 and 70 tooth rear wheel pulleys, increasing their life span . . . indefinitely!
Some factory and all fancy aftermarket pulleys that you have paid enormous bucks for and are typically “toast” in as little as 15,000 to 20,000 miles. SuperMax can remove the old teeth from your old pulley and overlay new proprietary “space age” poly teeth on your pulley to retain your current pulley design.
Plus the pitch will be right-on, no more squeaking belts.

ANOTHER STELLAR REASON TO JOIN BANDIT’S CANTINA–We just discovered a 1932 one-of-a-kine Helicorn. It was placed in a barn and forgotten. More than six decades later this odd lost little gem was rediscovered, rebuilt, and reintroduced to the world. Buckshot delivered it to the Cantina and the story in now available to Subscribers. Joining is a great way to support Bikernet content and Snake’s constant Corona drinking habit.
BIKERNET NEW YEARS EVE PUBLIC WARNING–“Sometimes when I reflect back on all the wine I drink I feel shame. Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the vineyards and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn’t drink this wine, they might be out of work and their dreams would be shattered.
Then I say to myself, “It is better that I drink this wine and let their dreams come true than be selfish and worry about my liver.”
~ Jack Handy
WARNING: The consumption of alcohol may leave you wondering what the hell happened to your bra and panties.

Paul Yaffe, Arlen Ness, Cycle Visions, Klock werks, Custom Chrome and Jim Nasi are sponsoring a Bagger Nation Class. Two Baggers from each regional show will be invited to Columbus to compete for $3000 in prizes donated by the sponsors. This project was headed up by Paul Yaffe.
Another new class this year is the Limpnickie class. This has been spearheaded by Cycle Source Magazine. Chris told me yesterday that he would send you some information on what he has in store for us.
Please let everybody know that bike entry for the show is free this year. All we ask is from the competitors is the purchase a wristband for the weekend.

Although we lost a chunk of money in our first year, we are confident that we have the foundation & regional support for this patriotic event to grow into the best motorcycle gathering in the west. After speaking with the key people that make an event like this possible we have begun planning next year?s event. We love the work and the people in Siskiyou County, Tulelake & Klamath Falls treated us great.
The theme of the Shasta Salute to America Motorcycle Rally will always be to honor America?s troops who give us the freedom to ride. South Bay Biker Productions, Inc. is a corporate sponsor of Operation Gratitude (www.operationgratitude.com

HAPPY NEW YEAR, GODDAMNIT, ECONOMY OR NOT–We’ll survive to party and ride another summer. I just had lunch with Eric and Bob Bennett from Bennett’s Performance. Together we will bring you some JIMS tools techs, and we’re working on a Zippers/D&D 2009 Touring bike performance upgrade. Ultimately we will install another Pegasus EFI system and show you how it’s done and tuned.
I’m also working toward publishing two books next year. My first Chance Hogan fiction and another 1%er book with Motorbooks Int. Plus we’re slowly working toward a film effort. It could be mighty important to our industry and this stinkin’ country. It’s all about freedom and motorcycling.
So 2009 is going to be a damn exciting year from a lot of perspectives. Our country will face changes. Maybe we can make the government see freedom in a resurgent light. And Bikernet will bring you more entertainment that ever. You’ll be there through each stage of publishing these books, building bikes or making a movie. Let’s party, 2009 is destined to be a helluva year.
Ride Free,
