Girl of Bikernet Daytona Dee 2018

I’m Jeff and the beauty in the paint is Dee. This was a trip of firsts for us. We’ve been to Sturgis, the ROT and a number of other rallies but not Daytona.

Just wanted to say great site. My wife was painted up like a wolf during Dayton Bike Week 2018, and Chopper Dave took some really cool pics of her. When looking for biker pics.org it brought me to your site. I joined for two years. I’m looking for pics from Daytona 2018, are you going to have them on your site?

We went on the search and a week later Jack found several shots, but we also received some shots from Jeff.–Bandit

This was Dee’s first time to travel east. She’s a Texas girl. This was her first time to Florida and to the Atlantic Ocean. She had a blast.

We wanted to make this an adventure, and body painting was part of it. We just, by luck, found Shannon Holt, who was one of the finalists on Skin Wars. She was amazing.

It took about an hour or so to complete, but Damn what a great job. I came up with the idea of a red, white and blue and silver wolf, Shannon made it happen. Dee popped her top off and sat down to a small audience.

Once we left the artist’s location, we literally couldn’t walk 10 feet without someone, mostly women, wanting to take a picture with Dee. She even made 32 dollars in tips, though she never asked for one and refused several. We spent all day walking and riding up and down main street. Dee really stepped outside her comfort zone and in fact set whole new level of comfort Zones.

Daytona was awesome, clean, biker friendly and plenty to do. It was cold in the morning but sunny and warm in the afternoon. We’ll go back for a longer stay next time.

Definitely a trip we’ll take again. We rode the 2,700 mile round trip from Texas to Florida and were rained on about 60% of the time. It’s the first trip we’ve taken in recent memory, that we wanted to stay longer and will next time. We are in our late 40s early 50s. Living and loving life.

The Wolf symbolizes a strong independent creature. Free to roam but territorial. She is powerful, balanced and in control. She is the queen of her destiny and travels her own path. The colors represent her loyalty to her country and the pride of patriotism.

This says so much about Daytona, the code of the West and riding free. We may see more of Dee and Jeff’s Bagger on Bikernet Baggers.—Bandit
