Hellbound Steel Motorcycles Introduces Their 2006 Models

Editor’s Note: Unfortunately Hellbound is no longer around, but the main mastermind, Paul Cavello, is still building killer bikes and is about to be feature in an upcoming TV series, Secret Steel.

How would you like to be able to purchase a production custom motorcycle that comes with either a 117” or 124” S&S show polished motor, 6 speed transmission, open belt drive, 250, 280, or 300 rear tire and tons of billet parts and accessories as standard features rather than an option? Let’s back it by a 2-year factory warranty and to make it even better, let’s give it a VIN number which makes it easy to register, finance and insure and offer 8 different affordable models. Well, here you go… Hellbound Steel Motorcycles in Rancho Cucamonga, CA is doing just that.

Hellbound Steel Motorcycles, a cutting edge motorcycle manufacturer of some of the finest choppers and pro street bikes coming out of Southern California , offers 8 models in their 2006 line up, including 2 new single-sided swingarm bikes and 2 different Bobber style bikes. All 2006 models feature right side drive (except certain international models) and are offered with your choice of a 250, 280 or 300 rear tire. (Except the Stripper which has a 16” 150 mm white wall on the rear)

Relatively new to the motorcycle manufacturer scene, as compared to the Big H-D which is over 100 years old, is Hellbound Steel Motorcycles. HBS was established 6 years ago and became an OEM manufacturer just 4 short years ago. HBS was originally started by introducing a line of rollers and parts, but they had so many requests to build customers’ complete bikes that they decided to get all of the proper certification and start building production bikes. All of HBS’ bikes are 50 state certified and they recently became the second US manufacturer to pass Canada’s strict regulations and get certification for our “Northern neighbor.” They are currently finalizing the details for other international markets. Not too bad of an accomplishment considering how many companies there are currently assembling and manufacturing bikes.

HBS is currently moving into their new 40,000 square foot building so that all motorcycle production will all be under one roof. They have been experiencing a strong demand for their bikes and in order to get their customers their bikes in a timely manner; they made a major decision to acquire the necessary equipment and machines so that they could double their bike production almost over night.”

Mike Salyer, VP of production explained that they are currently making 10 bikes a week in the winter, and bump up to 20+ a week at the beginning of spring. “Every HBS bike is sold at time of production…Something unique to HBS. We only build to order…we don’t believe in limiting our customers to “off-the-shelf” bikes. Dealers are allowed to work their market and pick colors, styles and paint schemes suitable for their region and location” Salyer stated. They feel that if you stuff bikes down a dealer’s throat, all you end up with is a dealer with a lot of ‘05’s in ’06.

HBS bikes sell from the low $20’s (The Stripper-$20,499.00 MSRP) to the mid $30’s instead of the bloated $45,000+ price that can be found just about anywhere you look these days. They currently have 40 dealers in 29 states and are looking to expand both their domestic as well as their international markets. They are already planning their 2007 model line up and their business philosophy is to have constant and steady growth, to continue to come up with new and exciting ideas and to keep the competition in their mirrors.

Following is a complete look at the specs of their 2006 model line up. To become a dealer of Hellbound Steel Motorcycles, please email Mike Molloy at Mike@hellboundsteel.com or call 909-944-7633. To see the latest from Hellbound Steel Motorcycles, please visit www.hellboundsteel.com.
