His arms are fashioned out of a cycle wheel split in half. His head is a motorcycle helmet with lights for the eyes. His lower body is a discarded motorcycle seat. Adam, named after the animatronic robot in the Real Steel movie, was made by Tom Arndt of Manly. Arndt’s creation was part of the displays at Saturday’s “Beat the Heat” summer motorcycle rally at the National Guard Armory in Mason City.
“These are all just spare parts that he cut apart and made a robot,” said Tom’s wife Jonelle, Manly.
