We're going to start to run a tool of the week in the news, but we're kicking it off with this batch. 981 Installer

No. 981, Dyna Main Drive Gear Installer Tool – Use on 2006 topresent Dyna Trans.

Use this tool to safely install a newor newly repaired main drive gear. This job can be performed with the transmission still in the frame, with hand tools. This tool will hold the main drive gear square to its bearing bore, eliminating any marring of gearor bearings.

984 Remover

No. 984 – Use on all 2006 to present Dyna TransDyna Trans DoorRemover Tool

Use this tool to remove (pull) the complete door with gears and shafts from the transmission. No longer will you need to remove the trap door by prying or hitting with a hammer. Just prepare the trans for disassembly, bolt this tool to the outside of door, and place the two supplied press pins into the two screw holes of trans case. Thread in two of the screws, securing the door to cases, and the door is pulled from case.

985 Remover

Dyna Shift Fork Shaft Remover Tool–No. 985 – Use on 2006 to present Dyna Models.

Use this tool to loosen and remove both shifter shafts from trans door, allowing further disassembly of trans.

986 Installer

Dyna Main Drive Gear,Bearing & Seal Installer ToolNo. 986 – Use onall 2006 to present Dyna Models.

Use this tool to safely install new main drive gear bearings and seal, with use of a small 1-ton press. This tool will hold bearings and seal square to it’s bore, eliminating any marring of the bearings and seals and installing both to the right depth.

This tool is used in the same manner as JIMS Tool No.37842-91 that you’ve used for years.

Fat 5 Transmission Trap Door Puller & Bearing Tool–

This tool will remove and install the transmission door bearings. It can be used to remove the transmission door for replacement without removing the complete transmission assembly. Door bearings must be replaced if using this tool to pull door from case. Replace bearings with JIMS No.8992.

Use to lock the clutch hub sprocket to the front engine sprocket. With the two sprockets locked together, engine and clutch nuts can easily be removed and retorqued for primary service work. Do not use Tool No.2234 for 2006 Dyna primary service work.
