Öhlins has launched a quarterly webzine, “Performance,” designed to give enthusiasts a dynamic relationship with the World leader in Advanced Suspension Technology for Automobiles, Motorcycles, ATVs, and Snow Machines. The first issue is live and can be found at: www.ohlinsnews.com.
Until the end of August, new subscribers to this free e-zine have a chance to win two VIP-tickets for a MotoGP round that includes, VIP-tickets, paddock access, meetings with Öhlins technicians, and more, for a complete behind-the-scene racing experience. The prize-winning MotoGP event can be selected from remaining 2012 events, or from the 2013 calendar, and does not include travel or boarding.
The “Performance” publication is aimed at a global audience of both car and motorcycle enthusiasts. Features in Issue One include: tour of the Swedish factory, two- and four-wheel racing, street motorcycles and autos, a custom build, the grueling Iron Dog Snow Machine race, Lamborghini Adventador, 2012 24-Hours of Le Mans victory, the company’s rally car heritage, and more. This e-zine was created by Holeshot PR, a UK motorsports agency.
Öhlins World Marketing Communication Manager, Ola Lennström, said, “We’re really excited to be launching “Performance.” Everyone thinks of our racing success but there’s so much more to explain about the Öhlins ‘story’. We have very high-end technical products but the interesting part is their inspiration, the guys who built them, and, crucially, what they get used for; on circuit, road, dirt and snow.
“We’ll be looking to feature more Readers bikes and cars in future editions and our big prize for this first issue is a special trip to a MotoGP event, to really see the paddock through the eyes of our travelling technicians. We have so many great stories to tell….”
