The report provides a thorough look into the competitive landscape of the market. It analyzes the market share of different regions, the history of growth, and the forecasts provided by industry experts in order to precisely project its growth trajectory. Global Motorcycle Market- Competitor Analysis  The Global Motorcycle Market is Manufacturers have started exploring the electric motorcycle market, showing signs that the electric motorcycles are destined to be the future of motorcycle transport system, as emphasis on clean energy in growing by the day. Harley Davidson has also expressed plans to enter the field. Suzuki, on the other hand, has taken a bold step to move away from the commuter bikes segment to direct their resources towards the premium motorcycle and scooter market, so as to cater to the “aspirational and passion need of the customer instead of functional needs”. BMW, although has shown no plans to enter the commuter market, continued to cater to the luxury bikes market by introducing new bikes in the premium range. Global Motorcycle Market- Segment Analysis By Product type, the Global Motorcycle Market is divided into geared vehicles and non-geared vehicles. The geared vehicles take the lead in this division. Most consumers prefer to use them primarily due to their fuel efficiency, and easy manoeuvrability through narrow spaces. Geared vehicles are further sub-segmented into standard bikes, cruisers, sports bikes, etc. The bike market, though, was hit in the 1st quarter of 2019 owing to the similar declines in major markets-namely, India and China. By technology, the Global Motorcycle Market is segmented into electric and non-electric/motorcycles which run on combustible engines. Although the non-electric motorcycles have a huge market share, their electric counterparts are forecasted to grow at a healthy rate in the near future, given that the world as a whole is looking to reduce its non-renewable resource usage, and cut down on emissions. The electric motorcycles are mainly comprised in two battery types – Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) and Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) batteries. While electric vehicles consisting of SLA batteries dominated the market due to their cheap price, recent trends show that the Li-Ion batteries have seen a steady decline in prices which would eventually lead them to dominate in the forecast period, since they have a high density, and high drive range. By application, the Global Motorcycle Market is segmented into motorcycles for transport, and motorcycles for racing. Motorcycles for transport leads this segment. The transport segment leads here because the demand for racing bikes can be considered particularly niche, given that bikes with a range of 150cc-200cc would suffice for a daily commute The objective of the study is to closely define the size of the Global Motorcycle Market cross different segments & nations in recent years and to forecast a valuation of the market. The report is proficiently designed to integrate both quantitative and qualitative aspects of the industry across every region and countries. Moreover, the report also gives detailed information about vital aspects like the growth drivers and challenges of the market. Add to this, the report also mentions the available and potential opportunities in the micro markets for stakeholders to invest upon. Lastly, it covers the present competitive landscape, the various technological trends, the latest offerings launched by the market players, developments like acquisition and collaboration, and others. It lists the profiles of various players in the market, which includes both leaders as well as the emerging players. July 1: The day it becomes cheaper to import motorcycles, produce cider and buy ebooks

A number of changes will come into force on 1 July. The alcohol tax charge for cider is reduced for small producers. So is the import tax for vintage cars and motorcycles.

But this is not the only thing: the tax authorities also get a new weapon in its fight against tax evasion. They can now do raids in connection with tax cases.

The rules mean that the tax authorities can demand access to premises, etc. to secure evidence for use in tax cases, the Ministry of Finance informs.

The raids must be approved by the district court in advance, and the condition is that there is reasonable belief to suspect a violation of the rules on additional tax.

Cut in alcohol tax

Some of the changes that happen on July 1 may also be felt by regular consumers. For example, one consequence may be cheaper cider, as the alcohol tax for cider from smaller breweries is reduced.

The proposal will stimulate increased diversity and brewing of cider and similar alcoholic products locally, she says.

It is already the case that small breweries have reduced alcohol tax for beer, but this has now been expanded to other drinks with the same amount of alcohol. .

It is reasonable that similar drinks to beer are included in the reduced taxation, says the Minister of Finance.

Cheaper import of vintage car and motorcycle

Another tax reduction the Government parties agreed on in the Granavolden deal, applies to the one-time fee for imports of vehicles that are over 20 years old.

This means that cars and motorcycles over the age of 20 can be imported without paying a one-off fee over the wreckage charge. This applies not only to cars, but also to all other vehicles covered by the one-time fee, Jensen explains.

In parallel, the one-time fee for the import of motorcycles is lowered. According to the Ministry of Finance, the change gives a reduction of about 10 per cent on average. The change will apply to motorcycles that are registered as of July 1, 2019.

The e-book VAT is removed

Something else that will be cheaper is ebooks, electronic audio books and journals. The VAT on these products will disappear from July 1st.

The exemption will ensure equal VAT treatment for printed and electronic journals and books, the Ministry of Finance points out.

More changes!

Among the other changes that come into effect on 1 July are :

The Tax Administration and the Customs Administration have the right to use personal data when developing and testing IT systems.

It becomes somewhat easier for the Tax Administration to remove old claims in cases where it will be inappropriate to maintain and enforce the claim.

The Council of Ethics for the Government Pension Fund Global and Norges Bank are allowed to process certain categories of personal data to the extent necessary to enable them to carry out their tasks.

It has been decided to introduce interest on the part of the one-time fee that is refunded when leased, hired and borrowed motor vehicles are taken out from Norway.

A special rule is re-introduced for the valuation of staff insurance. Under this rule, employer-financed insurance shall be valued at the proportionate share of the employer’s total cost .

Motorsport Aftermarket Group (MAG) Announcement

Charvat – “My work here is done”

In what might go down in powersports industry history as the ultimate ‘mic drop,’ Motorsport Aftermarket Group (MAG) CEO Hugh Charvat left the company at the end of June 2019.
In May he announced delivery on his plan to “unwind the errors of the past” with the strategic decision to “unwind the vertical” by “spinning out” MAG’s individual business units into stand alone, independent operations.

Hugh Charvat, now former CEO of MAG told AMD “My work here is done. The individual component parts, the six business units will now report independently and directly to the MAG board and no longer be integrated into a “vertical” business model that restricted their freedom to compete.”

His view is that decisions taken following the LDI/Tucker Rocky acquisition of MAG – to integrate manufacturers, brands, distribution and retail into a multifaceted channel busting tall business model – were mistakes that “compromised the ability of the individual business units to conduct their business in the ways that had made them great companies and brands in the first place.”
Worse, Charvat believed that in a relationship-based industry such as the powersports market, one where “people buy from people”, this ‘vertical’ model alienated many of the group’s largest customers as it positioned MAG and its constituent parts as potential competition.

‘unwinding the vertical’

His solution, announced in May, was to “unwind the vertical” and re-establish the individual business units in smaller groups of sympathetic manufacturing, brand and sales management operations and return to them the freedom and flexibility to respond individually to their own specific market challenges and opportunities.
At the time Charvat announced what he (rightly) described as a “new and significant change to managing the multi-brand organization,” he said “we’ve asked each of our senior leaders to focus 100% of their efforts on creating value, delivering growth and expanding the entrepreneurial mindset within their business unit and their brands,” stating that “when we do this, we will become nimbler, more aggressive and have a greater focus on the market and on our customers.

“We’d rather have a portfolio of successful companies with complete independence than force them to integrate – which turned out to be detrimental to several of our brands. While our business units will continue to collaborate where helpful, there will be no corporate mandate to do so.  We’ll ensure complete independence between Tucker Powersports, J&P Cycles and our four other business units.
“By making them stand-alone businesses we are empowering each of our talented management teams to make the decisions that best suit their business opportunities. The board and I feel that this is the time to unleash those individuals and all of our great employees to return our brands to the status they’ve enjoyed in the past, without the operating restraints that have been in place as MAG.
“There’s no question that we damaged a lot of carefully built relationships. By recreating the independence among the business units, they will have the freedom needed to be able to re-establish those relationships.”
–reprinted from AMD newsletter
Business speak is fascinating. The PR managers can make news of the building burning down into an opportunity to grow the brand. Almost a billion dollars went into building this grouping of custom motorcycle businesses. I would hope this debt is not part of the unraveling. Let’s see what happens next.–Bandit

Monster Energy® Kawasaki Finds Success in the Sands of Southwick

Foothill Ranch, Calif. (June 30, 2019) – Monster Energy®/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki rider Adam Cianciarulo conquered the sandy hills of Southwick at Round 6 of the 2019 AMA Pro Motocross Championship as he captured his fifth overall win of the season finishing 1-2 in the motos, while Monster Energy Kawasaki rider Eli Tomac earned his sixth overall podium finish in third (2-3), both extending their lead in the championship points standings.

As the gate dropped on 250MX Moto 1, Cianciarulo kicked off his conquest by grabbing his first holeshot of the season aboard his KX™250 and taking off with the lead. Having yet to win the first moto at any round this season, Cianciarulo went on to lead every lap and capture his first Moto 1 victory with an 11-second margin of victory.

Moto 2 saw another solid ride from Cianciarulo as he grabbed his second holeshot of the day and began his charge. After fiercely defending the lead for the first half of the moto, the Florida native played it safe to cross the finish line in second, knowing a 1-2 moto score awarded him the overall and extended his points lead in the championship to 23. Veteran rider Martin Davalos had a rough day at The Wick and was unable to complete the second moto following a crash on Lap 4 and finished the day 33rd overall (22-40).

The win marks Cianciarulo’s sixth overall victory of his career, five of which have come this season alone.

“I’m so pumped to get another overall win under my belt. Both motos started out perfectly after nailing the holeshots, and I was able to gap the field in the first moto. This competition is tough though, so I ended up losing the lead in the second moto. I’m proud of the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team and what we’ve been able to accomplish so far this season. We’re all looking forward to keeping this momentum going into the last half of the season.” – Adam Cianciarulo

“This weekend was difficult for me for sure. The high physical demands of this track got the best of me and I had a few good get-offs, but I won’t give up. That’s not in my blood. Hopefully things come together next weekend at RedBud and we’ll keep pushing forward.” – Martin Davalos

In the 450MX class, Tomac and Joey Savatgy lined up at the gate side by side aboard their KX™450 motorcycles, ready to take on the 40-rider field. As the gate dropped on Moto 1, Tomac and Savatgy shot out in front in second and sixth, respectively. Tomac fell back a few positions after the first turn but quickly made moves into third by the end of the first lap, while Savatgy ran into some mechanical issues forcing him to pull out of the race. Tomac continued to charge for the front, eventually making a pass into second on Lap 8, where he would go on to cross the finish line.

In Moto 2 Tomac started just inside the top-10,. creating a greater challenge to find the front. The points leader didn’t let that slow him down as he quickly began to make his way around the other riders, reaching third place by Lap 7. Tomac worked hard to maneuver around lappers and continued on to finish third in the moto for third overall (2-3). Savatgy had a strong start to Moto 2 but struggled to find his pace on the challenging sand track. Once he found the lines he was comfortable with and established his flow, he was able to push forward from 10th to finish eighth for 13th overall (36-8).

Tomac entered the day with only a 6-point lead in the championship standings but his consistency continues to pay off and his strong rides in the sand this weekend earned him a 26-point cushion and marks the first time in 2019 a rider will sit atop the 450MX class standings for consecutive races.

“Today ended up being a little tougher than I anticipated. The heat combined with the tough demands of a sand track and constantly being pelted with sand and rocks wore me out. I’m happy to be leaving with another podium finish and the points lead. Now that we’re heading into the second half of the season, I’m going to remain focused on this championship and keep striving for those overall wins.” – Eli Tomac

“The first moto didn’t turn out the way we wanted but I’m glad things came together for the second. The team and I have been working so hard to get back to where we need to be and dial things in in order to be ready on race day, so I’m disappointed that my overall finish wasn’t better. We’ll regroup and give it another shot next weekend at RedBud.” – Joey Savatgy

To Beat Slump, Enfield Looks Beyond the Thump

Co to launch a more affordable bike in the 250cc segment, open 350 small outlets in hinterland

Royal Enfield, the cult-bike brand from Eicher Motors, is considering a new 250 cc variant to arrest a slide in volumes and market share, and as part of a broader push to make it more accessible to buyers.

The Royal Enfield brand had gone off the radar of aspiring youth looking for an upgrade, as enthusiasm dampened somewhat due to an increase in prices of about 8-10% over the last couple of years on account of a transition to BS IV emission norms, a spike in insurance cost and the introduction of a mandatory anti-lock braking system.

A slowing economy and about a dozen product launches in the 1 lakh to 1.5 lakh price band also added to the company’s woes.

From strong double-digit growth over the last five to six years, Royal Enfield has slipped into a double-digit decline in the last four months.

Under new CEO Vinod Dasari, however, the bike maker has rolled out a plan to set up 350 small outlets in the hinterland, apart from considering a new 250 cc bike variant. The 250 cc study is being carried out by the Indian R&D centre, even as the UK Technical Centre moots new, bigger displacement bikes for the global markets.

RE is also planning to debut a no-frills bike for all its brands, giving a prospective buyer the choice of personalisation and accessorisation.

RE will be able to address the value and premium segment, giving power to prospective buyers, according to the idea pushed by Dasari.

If a prospective buyer does not require all the bells and whistles, he/she can buy a no-frills version, and if the customer wants to spruce up the motorcycle, he/she has the option of adding hosts of accessories to make the vehicle stand out.

According to people in the know, the brand’s prominence and consumer interest remains high. Yet, it is not translating into sales, and factors such as price and features have become critical, which the company needs to address immediately.

When contacted, a company spokesperson declined to comment on future product plans, but said that accessibility had always been important for Royal Enfield in product development and experience.

“We will continue to focus our efforts on bringing classic, evocative and fun-to-ride motorcycles for our customers. We have persistently worked on keeping our motorcycles accessible, from the perspective of availability, ride experience, as well as ownership experience,” the spokesperson said. On the role of customisation, the spokesperson added, “We have a range of genuine motorcycle accessories that allow buyers to customise and personalise their motorcycles. We believe it is a core aspect of self-expression for our riders. We will continue to work towards making this experience more seamless for the customer.”

The company has enjoyed one the highest operating profits among automakers, thanks to its ability to pass on higher costs to customers with ease. However, the moderation in volumes over the past one year suggests that customers’ ability to buy at any price point is gradually waning and rising product prices is emerging as a deterrent to convert enquires into sales. The company’s volumes grew a measly 0.6% in the last fiscal year, its lowest volume growth since 2010.

With a double digit decline in sales for four consecutive months, Royal Enfield is staring at the first year of de-growth in almost a decade and the company is unlikely to meet its production guidance of 9.5 lakh units.

The company admitted that the current dip in volumes is largely related to an economic slowdown rather than brand fatigue. Over last five years, it has been a case of both volume and realisation, where the brand enjoyed a strong pricing power. Experts, however, differ to say that the impact of price increases on volumes in the last nine months indicates brand fatigue is setting in.

To be sure, Royal Enfield has 28.5 million searches on Google, up 9% YoY, which is around 2.37 million searches per month compared with the next three competitors, who rack up searches in the range of 0.6-1.1 million.

The Street is currently pricing in volume growth of 807,000-856,000 for the current fiscal year, which implies growth of -2% to plus 3%. The company has given a production guidance of 950,000 units after the March quarter earnings. This indicates that the Street is not expecting any improvement in volume growth in the near-term.

A new initiative, of Royal Enfield Studio Format Stores, is another step towards ensuring wider accessibility across smaller towns in India.

Royal Enfield has planned to add 350 new Studio Format Stores in 2019-20. This will take the retail touch points to 1,100 towns and cities with 1,350 stores. These stores will have a complete ecosystem of sales, service, spares, apparel, accessories and also rides and events

The small stores will be 225 square feet for sales and 275 square feet for the workshop, compared with 1500 square feet for full-size stores.

The company is expecting sales of 12-20 units per month from the small format stores.

Besides, if the small format stores formula clicks, it plans to open more than 1000 outlets in future.

Electric cars: New vehicles to emit noise to aid safety

New electric vehicles will have to feature a noise-emitting device, under an EU rule coming into force on Monday.

It follows concerns that low-emission cars and vans are too quiet, putting pedestrians at risk because they cannot be heard as they approach.

All new types of four-wheel electric vehicle must be fitted with the device, which sounds like a traditional engine.

A car’s acoustic vehicle alert system (Avas) must sound when reversing or travelling below 12mph (19km/h).

The EU says the cars are most likely to be near pedestrians when they are backing up or driving slowly, although drivers will have the power to deactivate the devices if they think it is necessary.

The charity Guide Dogs – which had complained it was difficult to hear low-emission cars approaching – welcomed the change, but said electric vehicles should make a sound at all speeds.

Roads minister Michael Ellis said the government wanted “the benefits of green transport to be felt by everyone” and understood the concerns of the visually impaired.

“This new requirement will give pedestrians added confidence when crossing the road,” he added.

From 2021 all new electric cars must have an Avas, not just new models.

The government has announced plans to ban new petrol and diesel cars and vans being sold by 2040.

Alternatively-fuelled vehicles made up 6.6% of the new car market in May, compared with 5.6% during the same month in 2018.

Does this throw a major wrench into loud bike laws. Remember “Loud Pipes Saves Lives” and the auto industry proved it.–Bandit

INDEPENDENCE DAY BIKERNET WEEKLY NEWS for June 30, 2019

Hey,

This is our Independence Day weekend. Think about it. Independence means Freedom from the other guy. But now government officials believe they must pass more laws to be cool. More laws means less Independence.

How about a new rule. If you want to pass a law to create some legacy in your life and you can’t write a book or do something constructive like build a home or a motorcycle, abide by this law: for every new law passed, five must be eliminated, repealed or made toast—adding Independence. I like the sound of that.

The Bikernet Weekly news is sponsored in part by Cycle Source Magazine, Iron Trader News, Motorcycle Riders Foundation, Las Vegas BikeFest, and ChopperTown.

NEW BIKER-BUILD TV SHOW COMING TO DISCOVERY IN SEPTEMBER—
Secret Steel with Paul Cavallo and the Spitfire Crew will hit the airways Monday nights after Fast and Loud. Don’t miss it.

BIKERNET UNIVERSITY INDEPENDENCE LESSON OF THE WEEK–
The Fourth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution provides “the right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

Pretty straight forward really—the Fourth Amendment protects a citizen’s right to privacy and freedom from arbitrary governmental intrusions. This week however, the Fourth Amendment took another blow by none other than the US Supreme Court. In a 5 to 3 decision in UTAH vs. STRIEFF, the dissenting opinions were a scathing rebuke of current police practices. Click here to see the entire decision – the two dissent opinions begin on page 14)

Essentially, this case focused on whether or not a law enforcement officer can stop someone on the street without probable cause, ask for an ID, run a warrant check and arrest that person due to an outstanding warrant, then search the person to attempt to find evidence of a different crime. ‘Someone’ could be a motorist, a bicyclist, or a pedestrian.

Let’s face it, stopping people on the street by police generally does not happen often in middle class communities. It is a more common action in communities where crime is high and where outstanding warrants are just as likely for people who cannot pay for outstanding traffic tickets and other court fees. One of the reasons that the Supreme Court majority ruled in favor of the state of Utah had to do with what they thought was ‘an isolated incident’ and ‘good faith mistakes’ by the officer who, pretty much everyone agreed, stopped Strieff illegally because there was no reasonable suspicion to do so.

But in reality as both the two dissenting authors Justices Sotomayor and Ginsberg pointed out this was indeed not an isolated or good faith detention of a citizen.

Justice Sotomayor wrote in her eloquent dissent that the Utah Supreme Court described that it is common practice for Salt Lake City police officers to run warrant checks on pedestrians who are detained without reasonable suspicion. She wrote that in the related context of traffic stops, one widely followed police manual instructs officers looking for drugs to “run at least a warrant check on all drivers stopped.”

Justice Sotomayor added that statistically speaking, narcotics offenders are more likely to fail to appear on simple citations which include traffic violations. This leads to the issuance of bench warrants. When police discover an outstanding warrant during a routine stop, the police officer can arrest and then search the now suspect.

Outstanding warrants are surprisingly common. The number of actual outstanding warrants and the police procedures that Justices Sotomayor and Ginsberg address in both of their dissents is shocking: The States and Federal Government maintain databases with over 7.8 million outstanding warrants, with the vast majority appearing to be for minor offenses.

Ferguson, MO with a population of 21,000 has 16,000 people with outstanding warrants New Orleans police in a single year made nearly 60,000 arrests with about one third of those arrested having outstanding traffic or misdemeanor warrants from neighboring parishes for such violations as unpaid tickets.

In the St. Louis metro area, law enforcement officers make it a regular practice of stopping people on the street for no reason other than to check to see if the person had a municipal arrest warrant pending.

Within a four-year period in Newark, NJ, officers stopped 52,235 pedestrians and ran warrant checks on 39,308 of them. The Justice Department analyzed these stops and reported that 93% would have been unsupported by reasonable suspicion.

In NYC, officers are trained to stop and question first, develop reasonable suspicion later. With a population of 8.4 million people, NYC currently has 1.2 million outstanding warrants.

California has 2.5 million outstanding arrest warrants which corresponds to about 9% of its adult population.

Pennsylvania with a population of about 12.8 million has 1.4 million warrants for its citizens.

In a more personal statement in her dissent to UTAH vs. STRIEFF, Justice Sotomayor drew a link to racial inequity that pervades the criminal justice system. “It is no secret that people of color are disproportionate victims of this type of scrutiny.” She added, “We must not pretend that the countless people who are routinely targeted by police are ‘isolated.’ They are the canaries in the coal mines whose deaths, civil and literal, warn us that no one can breathe in this atmosphere. They are the ones who recognize that unlawful police stops corrode all our civil liberties and threaten all our lives. Until their voices matter too, our justice system will continue to be anything but.”

5-BALL LEATHERS PIT CREW ROAD TEST—
We originally designed the 5-Ball Pit Crew Vest as a vest for the Pits, or for traveling and maybe not riding, something that wasn’t heavy or all leather.

This last weekend it was warm in Los Angeles, like 83 on the coast and 88 in North Long Beach, so I decided to take a run on the Indian wearing the Pit Crew. As it turned out the asphalt road led inland and hit 95 degrees, but I immediately noticed how the Pit Crew Vest started to breathe.

It was sort of amazing and I discovered a new application for the Pit Crew, it became damn handy in the extreme temps. The Pit Crew is a tough and durable vest built basically with ballistic Nylon, capable of deflecting shrapnel, but it also breathes. So if you’re working in the hot pits, but need to carry shit like a camera, a phone, keys, tools, you name it, the Pit can do the job and cut you some slack from the heat at the same time.

Plus, this puppy contained our exclusive Media pocket in the back for magazines, I-pads, files, you name it.

I was impressed as I cut through the Wilmington ghetto on the way back to the Bikernet digs on the edge of the Los Angeles Harbor.

RIDE THROUGH DEATH VALLEY With Norman Reedus (Zombies Not Included!)–

AMC’s “Ride with Norman Reedus” Visits Furnace Creek Resort in Episode 2;
Map Available Online of Movies and TV Shows That Have Filmed in Death Valley Over the Years

For years, Death Valley National Park has been a popular location to film movies and TV shows, and the latest to visit was AMC’s new travel series, “Ride with Norman Reedus” (AMC, Sundays at 10/9c). Mr. Reedus, known for riding motorcycles and killing zombies in “The Walking Dead,” explores Death Valley in episode two of the travel docu-series, which is now available online at AMC.com, the AMC app, or via iTunes, Amazon, Google Play and Xbox.

“Death Valley: Dante’s View” follows Mr. Reedus and actor/friend Balthazar Getty as they embark on a Las Vegas joyride to Death Valley, spending the night at the Inn at Furnace Creek and riding through volcano-formed mountains and painted canyons to Dante’s View. Reedus exclaims as he looks out over Death Valley and the Badwater salt flats, “This is probably the prettiest thing I’ve ever seen.”

Directors, producers and film crews have long known that Death Valley offers one of the most unique landscapes in the world (and the prettiest!); many popular movies and TV shows have been filmed in the destination, including the original episode of the “Star Wars” epic (“Episode IV – A New Hope”) and “The Return of the Jedi.” A complete list can be found on the Furnace Creek Resort website here: http://www.furnacecreekresort.com/filming-in-death-valley.

Both the Inn at Furnace Creek and Furnace Creek Ranch have provided accommodations for the actors and film crews during the production of these movies and TV shows, and many actors have returned to enjoy the luxurious AAA Four Diamond, historic Inn at Furnace Creek for some rest and relaxation after filming has wrapped. Nestled into the mountainside where the spring bubbles forth, the Inn was built in the late 1920s by the Borax Company and features 66 elegant rooms, fine dining, verandas with sweeping views of Death Valley, opulent gardens, a stunning spring-fed pool (maintaining a constant temperature of 85 degrees), tennis courts and pool-side massages.

With its towering palm trees and true oasis atmosphere, The Ranch at Furnace Creek is fed by natural spring waters and boasts a large pool, golf course (the lowest on Earth), post office, general store, casual dining restaurants, horseback riding and 224 family-friendly rooms. The Borax Museum, with artifacts large and small including some of the original 20 Mule Team Wagon trains, also calls The Ranch home, as does a nearby landing strip. The Death Valley National Park visitor center is also within walking distance.

And there is plenty to do – or not do. For active vacationers, activities range from hiking, cycling, and Jeep treks to horseback riding and golf. The lush oasis also attracts wildlife such as roadrunners and coyotes, and it is also one of only a few gold-tier designated International Dark Sky Parks in the United States where stargazers can actually see the Milky Way with the naked eye.

Furnace Creek Resort is two hours west of Las Vegas by car and a four-hour drive from Los Angeles. For additional information, visit www.furnacecreekresort.com or call 760-786-2345.

Riki’s Ride SPONSORED BY LAW TIGERS 2016: Starts from Los Angeles and Heading– Well, You Tell Us

Riki Rachtman, former host of MTV’s Headbanger’s Ball and current host of the nationally syndicated radio show Racing Rocks, started today on his third annual running of Riki’s Ride, an epic motorcycle trek that traverses North America.

“I’m going to hook up with friends in Los Angeles,” says Rachtman. “We’re going to ride from Mexico up to Canada– then head towards North Carolina. Which leaves us a lot of America to see in between.”

Rachtman and travel campanions Taime Downe, lead singer of sleaze rock band Faster Pussycat, will embark from Los Angeles in June and take their cues of where to go and what to see from participants via Twitter and Instagram. In this way, they hope to discover and experience local arcana in the nooks and crannies of North America, and they will post live route updates and videos of their adventures as they happen.

This year he will raising money for the Chelsea Hutchison Foundation, which provides help and support to individuals with epilepsy.

Previous Riki’s Rides have taken the duo all over the United States and into Canada and Mexico. This year, Rachtman anticipates a 10,000-mile sojourn across North America. He’ll be taking to the road on his 2010 Harley-Davidson® Road Glide®, and Riki is delighted to have Hot Leathers, Law Tigers, METZELER Tires and Death Wish Coffee Company as sponsors again for #RikisRide16. They will be providing product and support for the duration of the trip.

LOWBROW HITS BORN FREE–What better way to get to Born Free 8 than to ride there?

A small group of us departed Lowbrow for a 3,000+ mile jaunt West, North, South, East all over the dang country, hitting 12 states along the way. It was the perfect way to test the Pan-American S&S-powered 93-inch Panhead that was finished just a couple days before we left.

More on that later! We also used this trip to abuse a bunch of riding gear and parts.

My Sturgis Shovel was built around an S&S 93-inch Shovel motor. It was the best Shovel I ever owned for vibration, haul-ass performance, and reliability. –Bandit

BIKERNET BAD JOKE LIBRARY NOW OPEN–

I’ve sure gotten old! I have outlived my feet and my teeth I’ve had two bypass surgeries, a hip replacement, new knees, fought prostate cancer and diabetes.

I’m half blind, can’t hear anything quieter than a jet engine, take 40 different medications that make me dizzy, winded, and subject to blackouts. Have bouts with dementia. Have poor circulation; hardly feel my hands and feet anymore.

Can’t remember if I’m 85 or 92. Have lost all my friends. But, thank God, I still have my driver’s license.

AUSTRALIAN BIKER REPORT–

South Australian biker to be deported despite having lived here since age two
Wednesday, 29 June 2016.

An Adelaide father with a longterm fiance is set to be deported to the UK despite having lived in Australia since he was two.

Immigration Minister Peter Dutton has stripped Paul Burgess of his permanent residency visa on character grounds because he has a criminal history and had a motorcycle club connection.

But his family and lawyer say he was only connected with the Comancheros motorcycle club for two months in 2013 and that his crimes are “not of the same nature” as those of others who have been kicked out of the country.

Minister Dutton, a one-time QLD cop before entering politics, has sweeping powers to cancel visas without notice.

It was reported earlier this month that two Adelaide men had been deported to Christmas Island by Dutton — Mr Burgess and Mongols treasurer Andrew Peter Stevens.

Mr Burgess’s fiancee, who declined to be named, said he was “not the face of organized crime”.

“His whole life has been here,” she said.

“Peter Dutton (talks about) the misery inflicted on mums and dads; well none of that has been inflicted by Paul.

“The only misery being caused is on our five-year-old Australian son who has been left without a dad.”

One criteria for cancelling visas is that a person has to have been sentenced to prison term of 12 months or more.

In 2003 Mr Burgess was sentenced to 15 months for assault and robbery, but he only had to serve three months.

His family says he is no angel but has been unfairly targeted.

Mr Burgess was taken from his home with no warning and sent to the Christmas Island detention centre to await his fate. His lawyer hopes to take the case to the Federal Court but concedes the case could be “futile” because of the arbitrary nature of the laws.

Solicitor Mitchell Simmons, of McDonald Steed McGrath lawyers, said the authorities made it “as hard as possible” to help Mr Burgess.

“Under these powers, the Act says they don’t have to follow natural justice, or procedural fairness,” he said.

Mr Simmons said it seemed to him the Government had already deported many serious criminals and was now going after smaller fish.

“It’s just not of the same nature,” he said, adding that Mr Burgess had not been charged with any crimes relating to motorcycle club activity.

In a “notice of visa cancellation”, Dutton notes that deportation would cause severe hardship.

“I have considered that he would experience severe emotional and psychological hardship in being separated from his family,” he wrote.

Dutton told media that “criminal bikie gangs pose considerable threats to the Australian community”.

“Protecting the Australian community is the highest priority of the Turnbull Government,” he said.

“If foreigners are involved in serious criminal activity, I won’t hesitate to cancel their visa and have them removed from our country.”

GARAGE ITALIA CUSTOMS FLIES IN THE “BLU DIPINTO DI BLU” WITH AVIONORD– Garage Italia Customs officially presents the Learjet31 “Nel blu dipinto di blu” at Milano Linate Prime airport this evening.

This aeronautical personalisation was commissioned by Laps To Go Holding Srl and Avionord

Milano Linate Prime – Garage Italia Customs has always wanted to highlight its all-round specialist expertise in customization since it was founded. Although attention has been focused on the many automotive projects with the Garage as protagonist lately, a new chapter officially opens for Lapo Elkann’s creative hub and it takes off this evening. Indeed, work on tailor-made projects for boats, helicopters and airplanes has been on-going for several months.

The Bombardier Learjet31 “Nel blu dipinto di blu” was commissioned to Garage Italia Customs by Laps To Go Holding Srl, a company belonging to Lapo Elkann, and by Avionord, an Italian airline that offers executive flights for private and company clients, as well as services for events and healthcare transport.

BIKERNET MEDICAL CENTER SCARE OF THE WEEK—Dying by accident.

Fatal mishaps are on the rise: Every four minutes an American dies from an unintentional injury, the National Safety Council reports, making accidents the nations’s fourth leading killer—surpassing stroke, Alzheimer’s desease, diabetes, flu, and suicide (wait, what about medical accidents the wrong medications and hospital infections).

The research is based on federal statistics, found that more than 136,000 people in the U.S. met an accidental deather in 2014—a 4.2 percent jump from the previous year and 15.5 percent more than a decade earlier.

Opiod and heroin abuse is fueling the trend, the report says, as over-doses and poisonings have increased 78 percent since 2005. Meanwhile, old farts are falling down more and that stat surged 63 percent over the past 10 years, while vehicle deaths dropped 22 percent.

Recently we heard that 220,000 folks die annually due to medical errors, and 150,000 peeps die each year from hospital infections. So, what’s it going to be?

Oh, and don’t forget 5,000 motorcycle deaths. Better pass another helmet law—I’m kidding.

The majority of this report came from The Week Magazine.

* First to hear about special events and/or projects
* First to know about rare editions before they’re Sold Out

The Project:

It’s rare when two artists who are at the top of their game combine talents to produce an unparalleled creation: “Art & Sole” is a stunning timepiece which is now part of the Scott Jacobs Collection. We are proud to announce Scott’s teaming up with award-winning watch designer Steve Soffa, in designing a timepiece which is limited to only 50 examples. This first time event depicts Jacobs’ painting, “Art & Sole”, a whimsical reminder of that old pair of worn out tennis shoes that you hid from Mom so she couldn’t throw them out! Of course, in Scott’s case, they were splashed with paint!

Each timepiece is crafted individually by hand, top of the line, signed and serialized along with a certificate of authenticity signed by both artists. Every “Art & Sole” watch will arrive in a beautiful black lacquer gift box bearing Scott’s signature. If you love his artwork, you will love this watch.

Soffa has won numerous awards for his technical designs and state-of-the art 3D striking and painting methods, which originally caught Scott’s eye. Jacobs says “I have admired Steve Soffa’s timepieces for years so working on this project was a natural for me. I appreciate his attention to detail and passion for his creations not to mention his incredible artistic talent ”

In addition to owning one of the rarest watches, each owner of this timepiece will be entered into a drawing for a free “Art and Sole” framed limited edition canvas print signed and with the number matching his watch. (Delivery of watch and giclee TBD).

LOOK TWICE SAVE A LIFE STICKERS AND DONATIONS–
GPMA Foundation
This web site is dedicated to Gene Adam Pearson, whose life was taken from us on May 19, 2005. He was a great son, brother, uncle and friend and is missed by many.

The void that is left in many of our hearts and lives can not be repaired, filled or erased. It is a constant reminder that our loved one is gone from our sight. His name and memory will live on in all of us, as long as we never forget him, and the 31 years he lived and all the lives he touched.

His love for his God, family, and friends will continue to live as long as we continue to remember him and keep his memory deep within our hearts. We all love and miss you Gene. BMW R nineT: Pure Authenticity.
Riding a motorcycle and feeling free. The BMW R nineT combines this feeling with a casually cool look which, in spite of all the details, is unmistakably a member of the BMW family. Further criteria such as ride feel, design and sound lay the foundation for an independent, authentic lifestyle.

BMW R nineT: Pure Customizing
The BMW R nineT is powered by an air/oil-cooled 2-cylinder 4-stroke flat twin engine. The instruments consisting of speedometer and tachometer harken back to historical times and emphasize the essential and minimalist visual appeal of the motorcycle.

QUICK, GUN NUT REPORT–
California: “Gutting and Amending” the Second Amendment

Anti-Gun legislators in California have been clear on their targets this year, the Second Amendment and law-abiding citizens. Now joining the numerous anti-gun bills that are pending votes in the Senate and the Assembly, Assembly Member McCarty has “gutted and amended” two more pieces of legislation into anti-gun bills.

While these bills originally covered completely separate subject matters until this week, they now are aimed at arguably the most law-abiding citizens, CCW permit holders.

Assembly Bill 450, will now require fees for CCW permits to not only cover issuance but also enforcement. The enforcement aspect is so broadly worded that it’s unclear what the author is even trying to accomplish other than to allow such ambiguity that law enforcement could price out ordinary citizens.

Assembly Bill 466 does not have official amended language available as of today. However, according to a press release by the author “Would require that the applicant present facts to distinguish the applicant from the average person and must show that the applicant faces greater harm than the general public.”

AB 450 is scheduled to be heard by the Senate Public Safety Committee on Tuesday, June 28. Please contact the members of the committee and Assembly Member McCarty to respectfully express your opposition requiring more fees to exercise your right to self-defense. Please use our take action button below.

Assemblyman McCarty has made it abundantly clear that he believes the right to self-defense is reserved only for the elite.
Please forward this alert to your family, friends, fellow guns owners and sportsmen.

FLORIDA Deputy charged in killing–

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement on Tuesday arrested a Brevard County Sheriff’s Office deputy in connection with the fatal June 19 roadside shooting of a 25-year-old man in Palm Bay.

Yousef Hafza, 32, was charged with second degree murder and attempted second-degree murder in the shooting death of Clarence Howard. Hafza was off duty at the time of the incident and was not acting in the capacity of a law enforcement officer at the time of the shooting, FDLE said.

The sheriff’s office said Hafza has been a deputy since November 2015 in the West Precinct Patrol division. He previously served with Palm Bay Police Department, Orange County Sheriff’s Office and West Melbourne Police Department.

Sheriff Wayne Ivey spoke to media at the sheriff’s office in Titusville on Tuesday afternoon, emphasizing the importance of having FDLE conduct an independent investigation.

‘There’s not a whole lot I can tell you about the investigation. What I can tell you is investigations of this type are always extremely difficult where it’s one of your own,’ Ivey said. ‘From the very beginning, our agency felt that it was appropriate to have FDLE investigate this as a completely independent agency so they could present their findings to the state attorney’s office.’

‘Pursuant to the arrest, Hafza was immediately suspended from our agency without pay pending an administrative review of the incident.

Once FDLE has completed their investigation, they will provide a copy of the findings, which will furnish the information required to complete the administrative investigation.’

Ivey said that it was important for FDLE and BCSO to keep their investigations separate to maintain the independence of the outside agency.

The shooting took place just after 11 a.m. on June 19 near St. Johns Heritage Parkway and Emerson Drive, where Hafza reported that two men were chasing him.

Family members said Howard and the car’s driver were out getting air for a bicycle when the incident happened.

FDLE described the confrontation between Hafza and Howard as a road rage incident that occurred after the two nearly collided. The driver of the car and Howard began following Hafza when they stopped and exited their vehicles, according to reports.

There also may have been a self-defense component of the shooting, Ivey said, but he could not offer specific details about the nature of the confrontation. Initial reports from law enforcement officials said that there were no other weapons present at the scene other than Hafza’s gun.

‘The thing with self defense is the state attorney’s office has to look at it and see if self-defense applies. They looked at the case and felt that these were the appropriate charges,’ he said.

No information was available on whether or not Hafza used his service weapon in the shooting, but Ivey told reporters deputies are allowed to be armed while off duty.

‘We encourage our deputies to always be armed and most of them do. I would think almost all of them do. Generally speaking, they’re going to be carrying their firearm,’ he said.

Hafza, a West Melbourne resident, was taken to Brevard County Jail where he is being held without bond. He is represented by attorney Martin White, who was reluctant to talk about the details of the case on Tuesday.

Hafza and his attorney chose to have the first appearance waived by Judge Michelle Baker on Tuesday afternoon.

‘Of course he’s upset and distraught… he’s hanging in there,’ White said of Hafza. He also maintained his client’s innocence and declined to comment on why he made the decision to waive the first appearance.
No future court dates have been scheduled for Hafza, according to the clerk of courts website.

Howard left behind three children after his death on Father’s Day. Family members said Howard grew up in Melbourne and was a drummer in church. In recent years he worked moving furniture and was raising his three children with his girlfriend.

WOMAN BREAKS WORLD RECORD on 11,236 Mile Motorcycle Expedition–

Brand new motorcycle driver Deena Mastracci left the California Department of Motor Vehicles on June 1 with her new license, rode out of the parking lot and proceeded to set the record for the “Longest, Continuous Journey by a New Licensee,” which included traversing Alaska and the Arctic Circle.

Deena Mastracci never says no to a new challenge. Refusing to be outdone by her fiancé, professional endurance driver Carl Reese, (who set the fastest time on a motorcycle from Los Angeles to New York), Mastracci decided to set her own long distance motorcycle record; but first, she needed a motorcycle license, no easy feat in itself.

Mastracci’s cross-country trip of more than 11,000 miles began June 1 in Santa Clarita, California. She had no prior on-road experience other than that gained at a one-day class at Streetmasters Motorcycle Workshops—on a closed racetrack—as part of her preparation and a Motorcycle Safety Class given at the local college for her motorcycle test.

The coast-to-coast ride by way of the Arctic Circle was no vacation as Mastracci encountered a variety of challenging road conditions, including snow, mud, ice, 50 mph wind, flooded roads and golf ball sized gravel. Her route included the full length of the Dalton Highway (one of the world’s most dangerous roads), a treacherous road that leads to Dead Horse, Alaska over the Brooks Mountain Range.

Her journey included pit stops in Prudhoe Bay, Alaska; Denver, Colorado; Brookfield, Connecticut; and Grand Rapids, Michigan before concluding in New Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Mastracci covered an average of 400 miles per day. During the third week of her journey, she travelled 1,000 miles from Denver, Colorado to Hammond, Indiana within a 24-hour time period, a feat that is only attempted by the most seasoned riders, often referred to as an “Ironbutt Challenge.”

Mastracci’s total mileage of 11,236 miles surpassed the previous record of 9,000 miles held by Clif Chu set back on July 23, 2012. Clif’s journey was witnessed by William Schoetteler.

A look at Mastracci’s record-setting route

Mastracci’s very first motorcycle ride was not only a successful attempt to set a record for “Longest Distance Traveled by a New Motorcycle Licensee,” but was also a way to bring attention to the work of the Motorcycle Relief Project, a nonprofit charity that helps veterans with PTSD and other injuries.

The group arranges multi-day motorcycle tours and other activities and also offers counseling for veterans in an effort to decrease suicides. Additionally, Mastracci hoped her ride would inspire other women who may feel intimidated by driving a motorcycle.

“My journey was the trip of a lifetime: a terrifyingly beautiful ride and an incredible learning experience all in one,” said Mastracci. “Everything about the voyage was a challenge for me. From navigating in traffic to maneuvering through mud and ice, it was very tough. While challenging, this journey was nothing compared to the trials that our armed forces face on a daily basis, which is why the work that the Motorcycle Relief Project does is so important to me.”

Reese, who followed Mastracci on the journey on a separate motorcycle as a safety precaution, said, “It was remarkable to see how Deena evolved as a rider over the course of her journey. Going from no on-road experience to tackling more than 11,000 miles over the course of 27 days is nothing short of epic! I am so proud of her for taking on and conquering such a challenge.”

No stranger to setting records, Mastracci (together with Reese and Rodney Hawk) already holds the Guinness World Record for the “Shortest Charging Time Cross-Country Trip in an Electric Vehicle” and as part of Reese’s driving team, has helped set records for the “Fastest Time for Crossing the USA in an Electric Vehicle (EV)” and for a “Double Transcontinental Trip (LA-NYC-LA).”

She holds a total of five EV records all set with a Tesla P85 D. Whether as a couple or individually, Mastracci and Reese are always seeking to accomplish new driving feats. For this record attempt, Mastracci rode a used F800GT BMW motorcycle purchased at West Valley Cycle Sales in Los Angeles, CA, the oldest BMW Motorrad Dealer in the United States. This attempt was Mastracci’s first individual record, and has been submitted to Guinness World Records book for formal verification.

Here is a look at Deena’s finish:

Deena Mastracci’s Maiden Motorcycle Ride was sponsored by GPS Insight, First Gear, National Cycle, Clearwater Lights, EarthX Batteries, Streetmasters Motorcycle Workshops and Dillon Optics.

Maltba will represent the United States at Yamaha’s World Technician Grand Prix (WTGP), a head-to-head competition of international Yamaha-trained technicians to be held in October at Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd., world headquarters in Iwata, Japan.

BIKERS SUPPORT OUR FLAG–

According to recent reports, a group of anti-NYPD protesters were forced to rely on the law enforcement they were disrespecting when they were approached by a group of angry bikers.

The protesters, called Disarm the Police, were engaging in a flag burning at Fort Green Park when they were confronted by 40 members of the Hallowed Sons Motorcycle Club.

“They lit the f**king flag and took off running once they got slapped once or twice,” one biker told reporters.

In an ironic turn of events, police had to step in to protect the anti-police group.

2016 ABUAJ Ride for National Security

The American biker is a patriot and a rebel with a cause. Join us where American bikers and patriots meet to unite in the cause of our lives at “American Bikers Unite Against Jihad”!

American Bikers United Against Jihad (ABUAJ) is a grassroots human rights movement comprised of American bikers, patriots, veterans and whomever supports America, Americans, and the exceptional rights, values, and principles for which our country stands and with which we are each uniquely endowed under our Constitution.

While our reach and supporters span the globe, we established ABUAJ to defend America and to mobilize and educate average Americans about the impact of violent and stealth Jihad (creeping Sharia), which have already begun to threaten our freedoms, rights, national security, and, most importantly, the future of our children.

As a “new media” platform and resource, our primary objectives are to counter the PC propaganda from the mainstream media and Islamic-tied groups with factual information and to quickly unite and galvanize others to advocate and actively stand up for American principles and liberties through social media and feet-on-the-ground rides, rallies, events, counter-protests, and beyond.

It is important to note that ABUAJ is a nondenominational movement that subscribes to peaceful approaches to advocacy. We are driven by a genuine sense of responsibility for humanity. We believe it is our personal obligation to distinguish right from wrong and take a strong stand for the good of mankind, and there is no time left for standing on both sides of the fence.

Thank you for your consideration

The Historic RED BUD Motocross to Host PIRELLI RIDERS This Weekend–

– The sixth round of the 2016 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship is set to kick off this Saturday, July 2 in Buchanan, Michigan at Red Bud Motocross Park for the championships annual visit on Fourth of July weekend.

The forecast calls for beautiful weather as riders prepare to overcome the challenging conditions that they will face. Michigan’s rich and loamy soil at the facility is perhaps the most popular on the schedule, allowing for Pirelli’s SCOPRION MX32 tires to give riders the ultimate advantage when the gate drops.

In the 2015 Pro Motocross Championship, Autotrader/Monster Energy/Yamaha’s Justin Barcia caught fire at Red Bud by performing brilliantly en route to the 450MX Class overall victory via 2-1 moto scores. He is coming off of a top five in last weekends second moto and will be looking to add another win to his resume when he crosses the checkered flag this weekend.

Californian Weston Peick began his championship campaign battered and bruised due to early season crashes, but has steadily improved his health as he marches back towards the front-runners. Last weekend he charged to his season-best overall finish, along with a top five in Moto 1. The third member of the JGRMX squad, Phil Nicoletti, has shown impressive speed in the first five rounds of the season. Misfortune has struck several times while battling near the front, but “Philthy Phil” is on the verge of a breakout ride.

BTO Sports/WPS/KTM’s veteran duo of Justin Brayton and Andrew Short continue their progression in the running order of the 450MX Classes deeply talented field. This past weekend at Muddy Creek Raceway in Tennessee, Brayton found himself rounding the first corner near the front of the field and battling for a top five position for several laps. The No.10 has his sights set on taking the next step when he lines up this weekend at Red Bud. Short has had his fair share of success at Red Bud in the past, including two-career podium finishes throughout his storied career.

BTO Sports teammate Benny Bloss remains one of the most impressive riders of the 2016 season, consistently battling with the sports brightest stars as he competes in his first season on the professional circuit. Expect for the youngster to keep the momentum going as he learns the race craft of his more experienced competitors.
The opening motos from the Red Bud National kick off on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 1pm ET and can be viewed on MAV TV, while the second motos will air at 3:00pm ET on NBC Sports. Check local listings for channel information.

INCREDIBLE—
Hang on for next week. Two techs are written and just waiting for approval from the experts on the mountain. All the Born Free Images in the News were shot by the Masterful Markus Cuff.

We wanted to feature this bike from Noise Cycles bad. It’s killer, but it was on the cover of Hot Bike, so no deal.

No, this bike didn’t make it to Born Free. I rode my Indian. But I actually fixed this bastard and would like to ride it to Walker’s café this weekend.

I need to work on a scissor lift this weekend and make a trip to Costco for batteries. If we make this work, it could be amazing.

We just never stop. Wait until you see the wind chimes we’re building, crazy. Hang on.

Have a helluva holiday!

HORROR IN NEW HAMPSHIRE UPDATE

Sad that this happened and it has angered many people not just motorcyclist.

I think you are going to be seeing many of the motorcycle rights groups pushing for enhancement to Failure to Yield Right of way laws.

In many places it is $100 – $150 Fine

Amending the current laws is not as hard as making a new one But there will always be someone against it.

Let’s say motorcyclist start with suggesting if the Right of Way Violation involves someone getting injured the penalty would be increase to $1000. Loss of License for 6 months, 2 points on license, driver training school and attending watching film of motorcyclist that have been injured by others.

If someone dies the fine is increased to $3000, Loss of license for 1 year, 4 points on license, driver training school and attending watching film of motorcyclist that have been injured by others.

I would suggest we would want to start higher than what we actually would settle for so that the parties could negotiate a fair settlement.

Abate of CA tried to change the law in 2006 they wanted a point and one half and $1,000 fine. They did get a law passed with an increase penalty But not what they asked for because the teamsters lobbied against it.  If you want to know more contact Mac Henderson

I remember back to the Easyriders days and the guy dressed in a suit of armor.  Though people and legislature continue to push wearing all kind of equipment to protect ourselves against those who injure and kill us It Has Not Work and it is Past Time we address the Real Problem and that is the operators of other vehicles.

Laws Need To Be Passed That Make Them Take Violating This Law Seriously.

I do believe that motorcycle media should be all over this and suggest people support changing laws.

If we are loud enough it will make media outside of just us and things will get done.

With 2020 and elections it makes a perfect time to make the statement to legislators Support Biker Rights and Safety and we will as our readers to keep you in office, if you do not, we will let people know how you voted and suggest you be replaced.
