Scorpion Launches Nationally Televised Ad

ScorpionEXO® has become the first major helmet and apparel brand to launch a national TV advertising campaign. The commercial will air during all MotoGP™, Moto2 and Moto3 events on Fox Sports (SPEED Channel). As the most active helmet company in the prestigious MotoGP™ race circuit (Scorpion sponsors a total of  17 riders in the Premier, Moto2 and Moto3 classes), Scorpion is fully committed to advancing its helmet technology to meet the rigorous demands of the world’s fastest racers. “While we still embrace the more traditional marketing channels historically used by helmet brands, our immense investment into the MotoGP™ program along with the launch of our premium EXO-R2000 helmet made the decision to advertise during these televised races a very obvious strategy for our brand” states National Sales Manager Jayson Wickenkamp.

Debuting during the recent Laguna Seca MotoGP™ event, the campaign highlights Scorpion’s all new EXO-R2000, the brand’s most technologically advanced helmet to date and worn by Premier class racers Alvaro Bautista, Hector Barbera, Alex DeAngelis and Yonny Hernandez. The timing of the ad launch was coordinated to support the Fall debut of the US version of the EXO-R2000 helmet and to call attention to the full roster of Scorpion MotoGP™ racers who will be featured during the upcoming Indianapolis Red Bull MotoGP™ event in August. Scorpion will be celebrating the launch of their new ad campaign and the EXO-R2000 with autograph signing sessions and promotional specials during the event.

“With this televised ad campaign, a strong sponsorship offering, and the introduction of premium GP-caliber products like the EXO-R2000, Scorpion is showcasing our commitment to meeting the requirements of the most demanding environments in the world, both on and off the track,” says Wickenkamp. “Our brand is truly dedicated to destroying boundaries.”
