THANKSGIVING BIKERNET WEEKLY NEWS for November 26, 2015

Happy Thanksgiving,

I mean it. We have a lot to be thankful for in a world filled with religious hate, bombings, and beheadings.

How can we overcome the bullshit and strife and kick back. We need to be thankful for the Sun and Moon. We need to be thankful for the oceans and the crops.

We need to be thankful for Whiskey and the shape of a woman’s breast. We need to relish in her touch and our abilities to build truly cool motorcycles. It’s amazing, it’s beautiful, it’s wonderful, and so what’s fucking it up? Religion and our blundering history.

In 2016 let’s get a grip. In the meantime be thankful! We’ve had amazing lives.

The Bikernet News is sponsored in part by Cycle Source, Iron Trader, and ChopperTown.

COMIN’ TO THE CANTINA–

Luckily the sun & warm temps are still hitting Philly hard. Usually by this time of year it’s a bit too cold to shoot, but not this year.

Lexia joined us for a few pics on this new Reck Room Chopper, “Swing Blade.”

I will add more pics to this gallery as they are edited, enjoy!

BRAND New Bikernet Reader Comment!–

Great article. I recently purchased a 2016 RG Special, and I agree that the stock windscreen is ineffective.

Prior to stumbling across your site I was unsure which windscreen would work for me with so many to choose from. Your article was very informative and personalized.

By listing your heights and all the details to include speed, etc. it truly helped me make a more informed decision on which windscreen should work best for me.

I placed my order shortly after reading your article and yes, when asked how I heard of the product I gladly listed BikerNetBaggers.com

OPEN LETTER FROM A BIKERNET UNIVERSITY ALUMNI–Dear Family & Friends,

I am sorry that I have not been consistently responsive lately to your emails. I have been somewhat under the weather since my doctors informed me that I have an acute case of Post Islamic Stress Trauma with Apologetic Whitehouse Fatigue (PIST-AWF).

For those of you who do not know what that is, PIST-AWF is a newly defined disease that is found to be widespread and highly contagious.

Symptoms include, but may not be limited to:

Severe pain of the scalp from pulling your own hair while viewing the President pander to Muslim terrorists.
Loose bowels from swallowing the fact we elected Obama twice.
Extreme hunger due to vomiting from nightly seeing terrorists murdering innocent people.

If you feel you have Post Islamic Stress Trauma with Apologetic Whitehouse Fatigue, please notify your local election board and place your name on the list for a cure. It is expected, and sincerely hoped, that the cure will be available in November of 2016.

I stupidly thought it was due to aging!

AMAZING HELMET UPGRADE–In the fall of 2012, Ryan Shearman was riding his motorcycle to work in New York City when he was rear-ended by a car. Following the accident, he began searching for safety equipment that could do more than simply provide impact protection. He couldn’t find anything to his standards so he created his own.

Three years later the Mohawk was born and is now making headways in the tech and motorcycle industry. In fact, they just blew away their Indigogo campaign goals on the first day of launch: http://igg.me/at/fusar/x/12524775

Here’s some background:

It’s an all-in–one solution that can bring smart helmet functionality to any helmet. It’s akin to having a multimedia capture device, digital dashboard, and lifeline for riders everywhere.

Some quick facts:

· It allows capture 12MP photos & 1080p video at 30 or 60 FPS with the touch of a button via handy handlebar or wrist-mounted remotes. The HotShot feature enables users to blast 15 second videos to social media in real-time, even if they weren’t actively recording – never miss a crazy action shot again

· It provides for unlimited-range communication with simple smartphone syncing and GPS location with a list of friends and fellow riders to keep the group together

· Perhaps most significantly The Mohawk comes advanced safety features which will serve to help riders receive potentially life-saving medical support in the unfortunate event of an accident. It will notify loved ones and emergency contacts via text and email and will provide them with precise geolocation information and the number of the closest EMS dispatchers

J&P CYCLES ULTIMATE BUILDER LONG BEACH SHOW A HIT—It was jammed Saturday as we tried to squeeze through the isles and check all the new models.

This shows offered all viewers a gander at an expanding motorcycle market. Here are the results of the show:

Results: 2015 J&P Cycles Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show Long Beach, California

It’s just a few days before Thanksgiving and it’s snowing in the East and Midwest but in Los Angeles its 76 degrees with blue skies and cool breezes. Forty nine bikes rolled into the Long Beach, CA edition of the J&P Cycles Ultimate Builder Custom Bike Show to complete in 4 categories and 4 special awards.

The Sho Dog is the award for the hardest working builder during the three days at the show. Jim Carducci worked the entire weekend showcasing his hi-tech adventure Sportster and won a solo bag from The Leatherworks.

The People’s Choice award went to Calin Senciac of Imagine Vehicles International with a radical Moto Guzzi. He walked away with a Custom 500 Bell helmet.

Jeff Holt from The Bonnier Motorcycle Group awarded Cory Ness the Hot Bike Magazine Editor’s Choice award and the Street Chopper Magazine Best Chopper award was handed to Andrew Ursich.

MOD CUSTOM AWARD

Nick O’Kane of K&N Filters builds Café Racers in his spare time. His latest build is a 2002 Suzuki TL1000 R. It features a custom sub frame, seat, RSD Exhaust K&N Air Filers and a classic café racer styling on a modern superbike. Paint supplied by Born Again Fairings.

1 – #375 – Nick O’Kane – 2002 Suzuki TL1000R named TL1000 Café Race

2 – #300 – Alan Dixon – 2004 Suzuki Hayabusa

MOD RETRO CLASS

The Retro Class is for any bike that is older than 1984. And Anthony Robinson rolled in La Mosca, his first ground up build, and came home with a smile on his face and a check for $750.

He told his wife that he wanted to build a bike. She told him that it was fine but he couldn’t spend any money. So his 2-year build was funded by recyclables from his company.

Robinson’s 1961 Triumph T100 features a Daytona 500 engine, hardtail and a 1937 girder front end. Paint was supplied by Mat Eagan.

1 – #875 – Anthony Robinson – 1961 Triumph T100 named La Mosca

2 – #150 – Manuel Muller – 1967 Harley-Davidson Flathead named Deep Purple

MOD HARLEY

Andrew Ursich took the win with Brass Monkey in Sacramento, CA two weeks ago and rolled into his home show in Long Beach with confidence that he could compete with the big boys. And compete he did as Mr. Ursich rolled out with the win and with a check for $1,000.

Ursich decided to build a bike from a basket case Sporty. He hand made the headlight bracket, then the fender struts, the inspection cover and the shift and brake linkages. Then his attention turned to making and modifying the sheet metal. He made the battery box, the ignition counsel, point cover, and modified the pipes from straight drags to upswept puppies.

1 – #925 Andrew Ursich – 1980 Harley-Davidson Sportster named Brass Monkey

2 – #1025 Michael Uriarte, Dirtbag Customs – 2003 Road King named Tiffany

FREESTYLE

Cory Ness didn’t disappoint with his 2015 Ness bike sporting 2 engines shared in a common case. The engine is a hybrid Ness/Pelegrini 248 ci mil slotted into a heavily modified Ness frame. The one off special front wheel rolls with an inboard brake.

The fairing, tank and side covers are handmade units. Paint supplied by Eric Reyes of Outlaw Paint. Ness walked away from the friendly confines with a Made In America anvil ring created by Speakeasy Original.

1 – #1225 – Cory Ness, Arlen Ness – 2015 Ness

2 – #200 – Casey Johnson, Headcase Customs – 1972 Chopper named Midnight Oil

Next up is New York. Some of the greatest custom bike builders in America roll into the friendly confines of the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center – Reserve the weekend of December 11-13, 2015: http://www.motorcycleshows.com/entryform

BAKER Drivetrain Now Open On Saturday, EVEN THIS SATURDAY– Starting Saturday, October 31st 2015, BAKER Drivetrain gearheads are at-the-ready, on the phones and at your service…now every Saturday!

“Many of our dealers are open on Saturdays, and many current and future BAKER customers are riding and wrenching on the weekends.

We need to be here to support them” Lisa Baker, CEO of BAKER Drivetrain insists, “We believe that we are the first major aftermarket manufacturer in this industry to adopt Saturday hours and we know that we can be more helpful by being more available.”

In BAKER Drivetrain’s new enterprise-wide effort to passionately push the limits of quality, innovation and service (an internal war cry heard throughout called “All-into go All-out”), the Saturday service void became apparent quickly. Extending to availability six days a week came just a fast. Enabling the American work ethic is no problem here.

For those who depend on Saturdays to get things done, in solidarity BAKER’s sales and technical phone lines are now open every Saturday 10:00am to 3:00pm EDT/EST. This is in addition to the current 8:00am-7:00pm EDT/EST Monday through Friday hours of availability.

MAJOR IMPROVEMENT ON THE ROAD TO STURGIS–Judge’s Ruling Clears the Road for Fort Meade Way Construction.

Circuit Judge Jerome Eckrich today denied an application for a Writ of Mandamus filed by a group opposing completion of Fort Meade Way.

The Meade County road project offers an alternative route between I-90 Exit 37 and Highways 34 and 79, connecting Fort Meade Veterans Hospital, Bear Butte, and the rally campgrounds and concert venues east of Sturgis to I-90.

The judge’s ruling kills the Meade County Taxpayers for Responsible Government’s efforts to force the County Commission to pass an ordinance outlawing the project, and it allows the Commission to award a construction bid.

Judge Eckrich explained the denial stating the proposed ordinance would have allowed “the use of a person’s property to be held hostage by the will and whims of neighboring landowners without adherence or application of any standards or guidelines (and) is repugnant to the due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment.”

Bids for construction of the new road are estimated to be about $2.6 million, and the Meade County Commission will open and award a bid tomorrow. The Commission has budgeted $1.6 million and Buffalo Chip President Rod Woodruff has pledged to raise up to $1 million in expected shortfall for the project to ensure its completion.

The new road will help ease traffic jams, which typically clog travel into Sturgis during the annual motorcycle rally. Donations toward the construction of the new access road are being accepted at www.BikersScenicByway.com.

Construction of the roadway is estimated to begin in late November. The project is expected to be completed in summer 2016, and the road may be usable by July 25.

BACK TO THE POLITICAL STUDIES CLASSROOM–Debt ceiling

I love it when a complicated situation can be explained in such simple terms!

* Democrats don’t understand THE DEBT CEILING

* Republicans don’t understand THE DEBT CEILING

* Liberals don’t understand THE DEBT CEILING

* NO ONE understands THE DEBT CEILING

SO, allow me to explain . . .

Let’s say you come home from work and find there has been a sewer-backup in your neighborhood. Your home has sewage all the way up to your ceiling.

What do you think you should do?

1. Raise the ceiling, or
2. Pump out the shit?

Your choice is coming in November 2016!

BONNEVILLE REPORT, THERE’S HOPE–A new day may be dawning for the Bonneville Salt Flats

Sunrise over the Salt Flats. While flooding of Bonneville is a natural part of its cycle that benefits the salt crust, increased rainfall and the shrinkage and degradation of the racing surface has led to concern about the possible end of racing at Bonneville.

So often problems concerning the environment seem insurmountable, causing us to shrug our shoulders and then think about issues we feel that we can actually do something about. But since I traveled to Bonneville for my coverage of the challenges facing the Salt Flats, some very positive developments have taken place. Recently, I spoke with Dennis Sullivan, president of the Utah Salt Flats Racing Association (“USFRA”), who filled me in.

This is the G/STR-class 1927 Model T-based roadster that Dennis Sullivan and his son Kyle set a G/STR-class record in with a two-way speed of 143.8 MPH.

Dennis explained that some local land speed racers and longtime members of the Save the Salt Coalition established a branch organization dubbed “Save the Salt Utah Alliance,” whose mission it is to work with local and state-level politicians on local solutions to the problems confronting the Bonneville Salt Flats (“BSF”), while the original Save the Salt continues its efforts with the federal government in Washington.

YUASA EXPANDS APPLICATIONS OF GYZ SERIES BATTERIES– GYZ16H delivers increased capacity in same footprint

Yuasa Battery, Inc., the worldwide leader in powersports batteries, has expanded the vehicle applications for its GYZ Series product line with the GYZ16H, designed to fit the same footprint as the Yuasa YTX14 and YTX14-BS batteries – the top selling batteries in the powersports industry.

With an additional 4 amp-hours (Ah) and 40 cold cranking amps (CCA) of power, the GYZ16H allows the addition of high-power accessories such as winches, lights, GPS and audio systems.

Initially designed as original equipment for ATV/UTV applications – it is used as the OE battery for most Honda Rubicon ATVs and was recently chosen as the OE battery for Honda Pioneer 1000 UTVs – the GYZ16H also will appeal to motorcycle owners where extra starting power and vibration resistance is beneficial. The Yuasa GYZ16H features absorbed glass mat (AGM) construction, and is factory-activated and maintenance-free.

By incorporating taller plates that provide more surface area, GYZ Series batteries are able to offer significantly increased power compared to traditional AGM batteries of the same size. Yuasa GYZ AGM batteries also have a lower self-discharge rate, an important feature for motorcycles and ATVs that are stored over the winter.

The GYZ16 is available with both H and HL terminal polarity configurations to fit a wide variety of application. Inside the battery, protective separator material and enhanced active material are designed to withstand vibration and prolong battery life.

All GYZ Series batteries are manufactured in Laureldale, Pennsylvania, USA.

For more information about Yuasa GYZ16H batteries and the full line of Yuasa performance products and premium accessories, visit www.yuasabatteries.com.

HOORAY A 53-46 vote–The U.N. Resolution 2117 lists 21 points dealing with firearms control, but perhaps of most interest is point number 11. It: “CALLS FOR MEMBER STATES TO SUPPORT WEAPONS COLLECTION and DISARMAMENT of all UN countries”.

By a 53-46 vote – The U.S. Senate voted against the U.N. resolution. HOORAY.

This is that brief, glorious moment in history when everyone stands around…reloading.

Now, Which 46 Senators Voted to Destroy Us? Well, let their names become known ! See below . If you vote in one of the states listed with these 46 “legis..traitors”… vote against them.

In a 53-46 vote, the Senate narrowly passed a measure that will stop the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty. The Statement of Purpose from the Senate Bill reads: “To uphold Second Amendment rights and prevent the United States from entering into the United Nations Arms Trade Treaty.”

The U.N. Small Arms Treaty, which has been championed by the Obama Administration, would have effectively placed a global ban on the import and export of small firearms. The ban would have affected all private gun owners in the U.S. and had language that would have implemented an international gun registry, now get this, on all private guns and ammo.

Astonishingly, 46 out of our 100 United States Senators were willing to give away our Constitutional rights to a foreign power.

Here are the 46 senators who voted to give your rights to the U.N.:

Baldwin (D-WI)

Baucus (D-MT) (this IS a surprise one)

BIKERNET BAD BLONDE JOKES, THANKSGIVING SPECIAL–DISNEYLAND
Two blondes were going to Disneyland.
They were driving on the Interstate when they saw the sign that said Disneyland LEFT.

They started
crying… and turned around and went home.

CAR TROUBLE

A blonde pushes
her BMW into a gas station. She tells the mechanic it died. After he works on
it for a few minutes, it is idling smoothly.

She says, “What’s the story?”
He replies, “Just crap in the carburetor.”

She asks, “How often do I have to do that?”

United Nations Disarmament Commission Explained– In 1952, the General Assembly, by its resolution 502 (VI) of January 1952, created the United Nations Disarmament Commission (UNDC) under the Security Council with a general mandate on disarmament questions. However, it met only occasionally after 1959.

In 1978, the first special session of the General Assembly devoted to disarmament established a successor Disarmament Commission (UNDC) as a subsidiary organ of the Assembly, composed of all Member States of the United Nations. It was created as a deliberative body, with the function of considering and making recommendations on various issues in the field of disarmament and of following up on the relevant decisions and recommendations of the special session. It reports annually to the General Assembly.

Guidelines and Recommendations

A/51/182
A/51/182/Rev.1
A/54/42

In the light of its function, the UNDC focuses on a limited number of agenda items at each session. In 1989, to allow for in-depth consideration, it decided that its substantive agenda should be limited to a maximum of four items. From 1993, it has, in practice, dealt with two or three items, each of which has usually been considered for three consecutive years. In 1998, by its decision 52/492, the General Assembly decided that the UNDC’s agenda, as of 2000, would normally comprise two substantive items per year from the whole range of disarmament issues, including one on nuclear disarmament.

The UNDC, which meets for three weeks in the spring, operates in plenary meetings and working groups, the number of working groups depending on the number of substantive items on its agenda. The five geographical groups take turns assuming the chairmanship of the UNDC, while the chairmen of the working groups are selected in accordance.

Over the years, the UNDC has formulated consensus principles, guidelines and recommendations (see below) on a number of subjects, which have been endorsed by the General Assembly. However, in the past decade, it has not been able to agree on a substantial outcome.

The UNDC is serviced substantively by the Office for Disarmament Affairs and technically by the Department of General Assembly Affairs and Conference Services.

So, let me get this straight. Since 1959 they have changed their name and the number of items they might consider during a session. Bravo.–Bandit

THE SUIT PAYBACK PROJECT–Soon to be covered in Cycle Source Magazine and on Bikernet. This is a delicate project endorsed by the law firm of Cool, Smooth, and Sleek Attorneys at Law and headed by partner in charge Silky Smooth. She’s notorious in the south for defending outlaws, cartel members, and pimps.

One of our partners fits in all three categories and he needed help. She was able to drop all his charges and all his funds. He owed her big time and no one owes Ms. Silky. She agreed to a rebuild of her Sportster under very arduous conditions. But you’ll get the whole story as it unfolds in Cycle Source and on Bikernet.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING FROM CV PERFORMANCE–We here at CV Performance would like to wish you and your family a Happy Thanksgiving. For many across the country late November marks the end of motorcycle riding season or possibly some reduced riding as the weather cools.

If you are winterizing your Harley or contemplating that next project over the winter, we hope you keep CV Performance in mind for your Harley riding needs.

Enjoy the holiday!

Winterizing or preparing for next season.

Now is the perfect time to start getting your bike in shape for your next ride, whether winterizing or getting your Harley ready for some cool weather riding. Adding fogging oil to your combustion chamber and adding stabilzer to your tank will prevent winter corrosion. For carburetor models drain the float bowl to prevent fuel from becoming lacquer.

Once it is time to thaw out and hit the road again check out our article: Shed the winter blues and get your Harley ready for spring.

Those lucky enough to keep riding into the winter season, consider renewing any of those wear parts that may have taken a beating during the summer. This includes accelerator pump diaphragms, gaskets, spark plugs and wires.

THE BIKERNET BAD JOKE LIBRARY IS OPEN ON HOLIDAYS–Veterans are people who, at one point in their life, wrote a blank check payable to the United States
of America, for an amount up to and including their life.

Remember ALL of our Vets ALL of the time…

A little old lady from Wisconsin had worked in and around her family dairy farms since she was old enough to walk. It included hours of hard work and little compensation.

When canned Carnation Milk became available in grocery stores in approximately the 1940s, she read an advertisement offering $5,000 for the best slogan. The producers wanted a rhyme beginning with “Carnation Milk is best of all.” She thought to herself, I know all about milk and dairy farms. I can do this!

She sent in her entry, and several weeks later, a black limo pulled up in front of her house. A man got out and said, “Carnation LOVED your entry so much, we are here to award you $2,000 even though we will not be able to use it!”

“CARNATION MILK IS THE BEST OF ALL NO TITS TO PULL, NO HAY TO HAUL NO BUCKETS TO WASH, NO SHIT TO PITCH, JUST POKE A HOLE IN THE SON-OF-A-BITCH.”

BUFFALO CHIP CHALLENGE– Custom Motorcycle Build and Scholarship Program Registration Open to Black Hills Students.

Black Hills area high school students are invited to apply for a position in the prestigious Buffalo Chip Challenge 2016 custom motorcycle build program with a chance at $8,500 in scholarships.

Students accepted will learn valuable mechanical skills and customization techniques through hands-on instruction from industry professionals at Dakota V-Twin and Baggster, both in Spearfish. The class will meet two to three days per week December through April during after-school hours and on weekends.

A variety of criteria including level of participation, interest and improved abilities over the course of the program will determine the three scholarships to be awarded in May by Buffalo Chip President Rod Woodruff. There is no fee for students to join the program, but space is limited. Interested students should visit.

LegendsRide.com/Scholarships to register before the Dec. 11, 2015 deadline.

The Buffalo Chip Challenge allows students the opportunity to work with motorcycle industry veterans Keith Terry, Randy Cramer and Chris Malo in a real shop environment.

Students will split into two teams to customize an Indian Chief Classic and a Victory Cross Country. Celebrity customizers John Shope of Phoenix’s Dirty Bird Customs and Rusty Jones of Sioux Falls’ Rusty Jones Customs will also serve as major parts sponsors in the program.

Many of the motorcycle industry’s top companies continue to sponsor world-class parts for this Buffalo Chip build program each year, recognizing its significance as part of the growth and success in American custom bike building.

In addition to working with the industry’s finest, participating students will also have the opportunity to accompany program instructors to the world-renowned Donnie Smith Motorcycle Show in St. Paul, MN April 2-3, 2016 where both motorcycles will be entered. The completed motorcycles will then be auctioned in support of the Buffalo Chip’s Legends Ride in Deadwood on Monday, Aug. 8, 2016.

For more information on the program contact Brad Schneck at 605-347-9000.

MEDIA STUDIES SAFETY AND FREEDOM—There are lots of reports jumping around the airways on this issue and it pisses me off. One of my major gripes is the lack of focus on Freedom in the Land of the Free.

I’m left handed. Maybe that’s my problem. But the focus is misguided. Or as usual it’s promulgated by control freaks, who seek only more control and larger budgets, under the guise of safety.

I say Freedom works in more ways than one. Don’t we want a strong, educated, aware, empowered populace with masses of self-esteem? That’s what freedom provides.

The outcome would be a unified citizenry who are aware of the threats, and can take care of themselves and their neighbors.

Sounds like utopia to me. It’s human nature to desire freedom. It’s not human nature to seek more restrictions.

CLEARLY COOL PARTS FROM BULLET AIR–New from French parts and accessory designers Philippe and Thomas Blot, a Harley enthusiast father and son team, these new designs of high-speed air filters and clear velocity stacks are available in a selection of dimensions (or custom applications) to fit most popular carbs, including CVs, S&S, Mikuni and other aftermarket brands.

The application-specific polished 6061 aerospace grade T6 heat-treated precision CNC machined aluminum cone attaches to the carb (or intake) with a one-piece adapter ring.

The durable clear ‘dome’ is manufactured from shock and heat resistant borosilicate – a material that is similar to, but sometimes regarded as superior in thermal shock resistance properties, to lime-soda based US specification Pyrex branded glass.

Borosilicate glass is a type of glass with silica and boron trioxide as the main glass-forming constituents and is known for having a very a low coefficient of thermal expansion – which means it will also be a lot more resistant to discoloration as the surface of the glass will remain less prone to particulate impregnation for longer.

Manufactured in France, like any retro-fit accessory, some re-mapping may be necessary when being used on fuel-injected engines, but they do work and “work well with fuel injection” as well as normally aspirated engines, according to Thomas Blot.

JIMS TOOL OF THE WEEK– Master Cylinder Bleeding Solution

JIMS Master Cylinder Bleeding Solution is designed to allow the technician to draw a vacuum on the hydraulic system. This is accomplished by using specially designed lids with an air fitting which, when connected to a vacuum bleeder, pulls air out of the hydraulic system.

The lids are intentionally made clear to enable the technician to see bubbles bleeding from the brake fluid. When the bubbles cease, the hydraulic system is bled. JIMS® offers 5 different lids that fit many Harley-Davidson models. No. 5503 is our master kit, which contains all 5 bleeder lids in a storage case.

It has a MSRP of $235.00.

Individual kits are available for those who want a specific bleeder lid. Individual kits have a MSRP of $49.00. JIMS brake bleeding lids are designed to be used with an air powered vacuum bleeder (sold separately).

VICTORY TIMING FIXED–Lloydz Motorworkz Quicker throttle at lower rpms

Lloydz Motorworkz of Pine Bush, New York, has this Precision Timing System that allows for 6 degrees of retard and 8 degrees of advance timing adjustments, for use on all ’08 and up Victory models.

The HOH-PTS-08 offers approximately 8 HP, 15 ft lbs of torque and complements the PCV and other fuel controllers. It can also be used to help eliminate pre-detonation (“pinging”) on some engines, works with any combination of parts and will make timing adjustments at under 2,500 rpms.
LLOYDZ recommends replacing the cam cover gasket when installing their timing system, which is available from them separately.

I STUMBLED—into a cable show I don’t like and the host was interviewing some Presidential candidate. The guy said guns rights are bullshit, like John Wayne. The host brought up mass killings and wouldn’t it be better if someone in the room had a gun?

The guy made a comment how the person might not know how to use it. What a bunch of bullshit. So, what if everyone in the room had a gun when the Paris ISIL guys attacked, and they were all trained. I doubt if he would have even walked into that night club.

I have another crazy thought I want to share, but we need to give thanks. And I want to give thanks to good friends like Bob T. He’s been with Bikernet since the beginning, always helpful. I wish him the best on this day in the desert with his family living in a ’59 Cadillac. I’m going to write a story about his Shovel above, but something tells me we did, ten years ago.

Have a helluva Holiday1
