THE BOOB JOB SUNDAY POST for May 10th, 2015

Hey,

This has been an interesting, stimulating week. I often wonder what I’m missing. Sometimes I read something and wonder if the awareness I’m encountering is wide spread or I’m late to the dinner.

We are about to re-launch the Cantina with a ton of new material. Sam Dixon just left the Bikernet Interplanetary headquarters, on foot, on his muck run gathering shots of girls all across the country for the Cantina. I wasn’t joking about on foot. He’s taking trains and busses around the country. It’s cheap and simple.

We discussed anything that might turn the Cantina on its ear, while benefiting the readers. Let us know if we touch on something spectacular, or you know what that element might be.

One of the topics we discussed is our highly controversial non-fiction book notion titled “The Dogs vs. The Evil Nesters.” A book warning men of the risks associated with marriage. “So, how many volumes do you suppose,” Sam said as he wandered out the door after a heated discussion with his other-half on the other coast. She’s about to face her fifth boob job surgery, “They need to be perfectly even,” she demanded.

We were thinking about adding a chapter each month to the Cantina and every other one would be a horror story from a reader about a relationship gone bad. This is not all about how bad women are, but strikes at both sides. We’re just hoping to save a life or two. What the hell do you think?

Let’s hit the news, but first our goal must be to bring Nirvana, or tranquility to the readers of this book. It’s the Code of the West. I recently started to read a book about the stock market called The Crash of 2016.

I gave it to my mom, because she’s heavy into the stock market, so she read it. Unfortunately, it didn’t contain one solution, but was just a downer about our financial system and future. Bummer!

Our book won’t follow a depressing mantra. At the end of the day it will afford Cantina members with a map to relationship success, save lives, protect financial fortunes, and teach ultimate compassion and forgiveness. So, what could be better? Let me know what you think?

QUICK, OPEN THE BIKERNET BAD JOKE LIBRARY–
The Pentagon announced TODAY the formation of a new 500-man elite fighting unit called the United States Redneck Special Forces (USRSF). These boys will be dropped off in all ISIS controlled areas, and have been given only the following facts about ISIS: 1. The season opens today, 2. There is no limit, 3. They taste just like chicken, 4. They don’t like beer, bacon, BBQ, pickup trucks, naked women, country music, or Jesus, AND… 5. They are directly responsible for the death of Dale Earnhardt!!! The Pentagon expects the problem in the Middle East to be over by Friday.

A MEMO FROM RUN TO THE WALL BOARD– Here in the south bay area of Los Angeles , a company , named Deep Space Sprockets (totally fictional, I hope) had to reduce their support drastically, for our folks here for the Run for the Wall. Our contact here a previous CEO, A retired Marine officer is no longer with the company. A big supporter of our veterans of foreign wars he started the effort in the company around 7 years ago .

We were able to use the company park facility to put on a feed for a small fee for food and beverage . We had vendors in the park , we had raffle prizes , we had local shops showing bobbers and choppers of all kinds , we had a car and motorcycle show and we started with a military flag ceremony as an opener . Due to a drastic reduction in support, we cancelled the event for this year .

They all leave for the RFTW next week . If you , any of your team or any of your military contacts and or any of KRB supporters , in the area can help us
to continue this event , to support the Run for the Wall , in D.C , it would be appreciated. I will keep you informed into the progression for next years event .

SALT TORPEDO UPDATE FROM THE DEVIL IN HOUSTON–
Here is a couple links to products to look at and a couple photos from the first belly tank design we looked at, because our design is more like theirs. I think we are on the right track.

If I were stuffing my ass in there I think I’d rather be seated upright a bit more, most of the motorcycle streamliners are a lot more laid back.

Nothing quite like building something that is just like this, a little like that but completely different hahaha!

NEW IN THE CANTINA, MAYBE–
This is a gal that I shot last year, but I made sure it wasn’t in my gallery area of the Cantina before sending her over, so here she is:

You think this gal can’t beat your ass… don’t be so sure. Meet Carissa, the dominatrix, sitting on a wild Johnny Mac’s Chopper House Customs Prostreet. I located Carissa on a modeling website, then caught a few of her bondage videos (oh my), female nude wrestling, and more.

Anyway, she waltzed into my studio, told me how the shoot was going to go, and I just listened carefully, and I’m glad I did so. The shoot was fun & I’d love to do another, there are many looks to this girl & I’m sure that we would all like to see more. ENJOY!

Just wow!

SMOKEOUT RALLY FRAMED– The Pro Chop Off is back for 2015. It is brutal on a shop owner headed into their busy season to not only build a bike on a time frame but to submit articles along the way.

There are four builders that will have their creations at the Suck Bang Blow in Murrells Inlet, SC on Wednesday night for a blow out pre-party.

Thursday the builders will ride to the Smoke Out on their creations. Of course you are invited to join them.

Check out the HORSE Backstreet Choppers Magazine’s for the latest update from each builder?
Tim Bradham and Josh Cirpa from TBC Handcrafted Motorcycles have gone the extra mile and they set up a time-lapse camera to capture the creation of a stainless steel frame. This isn’t another video with a bearded guy in a plaid shirt, throwing sparks with a die grinder, because they are not using a die grinder. It is the actual creation of a stainless steel frame. No artsy angles and close ups but I think it’s very cool. Y’all will have to let me know what you think.

ALLSTATE Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month–
On May 12th, Allstate is launching the first-ever “Ride for Awareness.” They will be sending one rider to all 50 state capitols in 111 days-a trip that will cover more than 17,000 miles!

Why is this important? According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, three motorcyclists are killed in multi-vehicle crashes at intersections each day.

Experienced motorcycle rider Nate Hudson will be riding across the country to visit the DMV at all 50 state capitols to hand-deliver a proposal on behalf of Allstate with a request that a question highlighting the importance of sharing the road with motorcycle riders be included in each state’s driver education curriculum and test required to obtain a driver’s license. Hudson has over 20 years of riding experience, and is also co-owner of the British-American Motorcycle Club, a service shop and riding club with an emphasis on vintage and custom bikes.

Hudson will be making the journey on a 2015 Indian Roadmaster customized for Allstate. The bike is equipped for long-distance riding and has a strong engine capable of making the 17,000 mile trek.

We have media time with Hudson on Monday, May 11th and 12th via phone. Hudson can talk about the Ride for Awareness, why it’s important for motorcyclists and motorists alike and also how people can get involved and follow along with the journey. Does this sound like something you would be interested in?

I’ve included a map below my signature with his route as well. Please keep this information under embargo until May 12th—we want to keep some of the cool details of this campaign under wraps!

WIFE: “There is trouble with the car. It has water in the carburetor.”

HUSBAND: “Water in the carburetor? That’s ridiculous.”

WIFE: “I tell you the car has water in the carburetor.”

HUSBAND: “You don’t even know what a carburetor is. I’ll check it out. Where’s the car?”

WIFE: “In the pool”

This is a frightening statistic, probably one of the most worrisome in recent years.

25% of the women in this country are on medication for mental illness. That’s scary. It means 75% are running around untreated.

CHOPPERTOWN’S 10TH ANNIVERSARY COMING–
In honor of Choppertown’s impending 10th anniversary we’ve put Choppertown From the Vault on sale this weekend for just $5 to download and the DVD with bonus CD is only $10.

Hint: As always, we usually leave the sale running a couple of extra days so if you visit the site on Monday or Tuesday you can probably still take advantage of the special sale price.

BIG LOSS FOR BIG BROTHER– Federal Appeals Court Rules Against Government on Mass Surveillance– On May 7, 2015, in a significant victory for Americans’ right to privacy and the rule of law, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit ruled in favor of the plaintiffs in the case of ACLU v. Clapper, which challenged the National Security Agency’s bulk collection of telephone metadata under Section 215 of the USA PATRIOT Act.

While the plaintiffs raised various claims, the court ultimately ruled that the provision of law the government claimed enabled the mass surveillance program did not confer that authority. According to the court’s opinion, “the text of § 215 cannot bear the weight the government asks us to assign to it, and … it does not authorize the telephone metadata program.” Your NRA had participated in the case by filing friend of the court briefs at different stages of the proceedings. We have also supported legislation to curtail the NSA’s dragnet surveillance of American citizens.

As described by the court’s opinion, the information captured under the program concerns “details about telephone calls, including, for example, the length of a call, the phone number from which the call was made, and the phone number called.” Additionally, “Metadata can … reveal the user or device making or receiving a call through unique ‘identity numbers’ associated with the equipment … and provide information about the routing of a call through the telephone network, which can sometimes … convey information about a caller’s general location.” Analysis of this information, even without listening to the content of the calls, can reveal detailed information about the parties to the call, including civil, political, or religious affiliations; social status and networks; and even possession of certain items.

The NRA argued in its briefs that NSA’s data collection program violates the First Amendment rights of NRA members by potentially chilling their willingness to communicate. It also asserted that the NSA program could be used to circumvent statutory protections barring the federal government from collecting gun ownership records. While the court did not resolve the case on those grounds, the breadth of opposition to the program from across the political and ideological spectrums likely underscored to the court the gravity and scope of the privacy violations at issue.

Since the litigation began, media reports – often citing accounts from whistleblowers formerly associated with U.S. intelligence agencies – have accused the federal government of far more intrusive practices against Americans who are under no suspicion of wrongdoing. This includes capturing and storing the actual content of digital communications (including cell phone calls and e-mails) and developing programs to automatically transcribe audio communications, the better to conduct keyword searches of them. Whatever the full extent of the modern surveillance state under Barack Obama may actually be, it’s clear that the very government which is supposed to serve the people treats those same people as inherently suspicious and in need of monitoring. A more backward view of America’s constitutional order is hard to imagine.

One of the fundamental flaws behind most types of gun control is that it purports to punish “the bad guys” by focusing its restrictions primarily on the good guys. The same defect applies to the practice of capturing huge amount of information about Americans, their communications, and their activities on the off-chance it might later prove useful when targeting a legitimate threat. Not only does this violate lawful citizens’ expectations of privacy, it can chill lawful conduct and the exercise of constitutionally protected freedoms, and it conflicts with American values as reflected in the Constitution and laws of our land.

We will continue to report on further developments in this important, unfolding story. While Big Brother is indeed watching, NRA is committed to ensuring that your Second Amendment choices and activities remain shielded from his gaze.

INDIAN MOTORCYCLE CELEBRATES THE FUTURE AND HONORS NEARLY 100 YEARS OF RICH INDIAN SCOUT HERITAGE WITH ITS “SCOUT INSPIRED CUSTOM SERIES”

Inaugural story honors USO partnership and unwavering military commitment with unveiling of Custom Military Scout and multimedia vignette narrated by Mark Wahlberg

MEDINA, Minn. — May 8, 2015 — Indian Motorcycle, America’s first motorcycle company, today announced its Scout Inspired Custom Series; a chronology of the rich, century-long history of the Indian® Scout™ motorcycle. Throughout 2015, Indian Motorcycle will unveil a series of custom Indian Scouts designed and crafted by some of America’s leading custom bike builders — each designed to celebrate an important Indian Scout milestone or achievement since its debut in 1920. Each of the custom Scouts will be accompanied by vignettes to share the legacy of the Indian Scout.

To kick-off the series, Indian Motorcycle today launched the Custom Military Scout in a vignette narrated by Mark Wahlberg. The Custom Military Scout is a tribute to the company’s nearly 100-year history of supporting the U.S. Military and to celebrate Indian Motorcycle’s partnership with USO. The Custom Military Scout was designed and built by world-renowned custom builder Klock Werks Kustom Cycles of Mitchell, South Dakota.

“Klock Werks Kustom Cycles is honored to partner with Indian Motorcycle on a project that pays tribute to the USO and their outstanding work on behalf of the dedicated men and women of our U.S. Armed Forces,” said Brian Klock, founder of Klock Werks. “Indian Motorcycle has a long and impressive legacy of supporting the U.S. Military dating back to WWI and all of us at Klock Werks are humbled to play a role in this important and historic endeavor.”

The Custom Military Scout is built on the award-winning 2015 Indian Scout platform, sporting a matte green paint indicative of a vintage military bike that was perfectly applied by Brad Smith of The Factory Match. It utilizes taillights that are modern street legal reproductions on a custom bracket to mimic the original military-style lights.

The Custom Military Scout features Genuine Indian Motorcycle Accessory leather saddlebags, a Klock Werks “Klassic” seat kit and leather wraps for the base of the Indian accessory quick-detach windshield — all upholstered using matching leather hides. A custom gun scabbard mount holds a Thompson sub-machine gun with a custom gunstock by Boyds Gunstocks of Mitchell, SD etched with both the USO and Indian Motorcycle logos. The first public showing of the bike will be at the Quail Motorcycle Gathering in Monterey California on May 15th & 16th.

The Custom Military Scout and accompanying video vignette narrated by Mark Wahlberg can be found by visiting indianmotorcycle.com, along with upcoming stories in the Scout Inspired Custom Series.

JIMS Tool of the Week 5/7/2015–

No. 1705 Exhaust Stud Drill Plate.

Have you ever had to extract a broken exhaust stud? Let’s just say it is not an easy job, especially when it is broken off flush or below the surface. JIMS Exhaust Stud Drill Plate is designed to guide and maintain alignment of the drill bit when drilling out broken exhaust studs.

Once you drill out the stud with the supplied drill bit, follow up with a 5/16-18 tap, then replace with a new stud. This tool works with the engine in the frame most of the time, although certain studs can be obstructed by the frame.

Not for use when both studs are broken on the same cylinder head. JIMS No. 1705 is for use on all Big Twins 1984 to present, Sportster models 1986 to present, and 1987-2010 Buell (except 1125R).

For more info, contact JIMS at sales@jimsusa.com or call (805) 482-6913. You can also visit us on the web at www.jimsusa.com.

Australia Iron Head Sportster

I’m in the middle of building my own 1973 XLCH. Yours are beautiful to say the least. I am building mine in a one-car garage and it’s a pain in the ass when you can’t stand back and look at it, but I’m on the mechanical punch out “all the little things” and then paint.

I’m not even sure I’m going to paint it. I really like the gooseneck design on the down under thunder. Deano’s Shovel is a beauty. As far as I’m concerned Shovelheads & Ironheads are my two favorites.

GUN NUT REPORTS Newspaper: “40% No-Check Claim is “Mostly False”–
As one of our great national leaders once said when repeatedly confronted with specious and insubstantial arguments, “There you go again.”

We could cite plenty of examples used by proponents of gun control in this regard, but for the moment we’re talking about the claim that 40 percent of firearms are sold without a background check. Readers may recall that two years ago, FactCheck.org discredited the claim in depth and the Washington Post Fact Checker thereafter gave President Obama “Three Pinocchios” for using it in a White House speech.

That should have been embarrassing enough to have sent gun control supporters back to the drawing board, but instead they’ve doubled down. Michael Bloomberg’s Everytown front group now uses the “40 percent” claim–and its corollary “6.6 million firearms” claim–here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and here.

That brings us to Timothy Kaine, the former Virginia governor and Democratic Party chairman elected to the U.S. Senate in 2012. Kaine repeated the “40 percent” claim on the floor of the Senate last month, but the Richmond, Va., Times-Dispatch is calling him on the lie. The newspaper points out that the authors of the study on which the claim is supposedly based say that only 14 to 22 percent of firearms were sold without a check when the study was conducted 21 years ago (before gun dealers were required to run checks under federal law), and they “don’t know” if the same figures would be correct today. The Times-Dispatch’s conclusion: the “40 percent” claim is “mostly false.”

Gun control supporters will probably continue using the claim anyway. But why they think that it helps them to exaggerate the number of private firearm sales is a mystery. Claiming that there are millions of firearms sold without a background check, while the nation’s murder rate is at about an all-time low, tends to endorse, rather than to disparage, private gun sales.

NEXT WEEK— I’m inspired at different levels almost daily. I try to find inspiration every day through discussions and reading. This week I’m particularly moved by conversations with Dr. Hamster, Ray C. Wheeler, Sam Dixon, Mari Cruz and my 93-year-old ma.

We are tripling the content in the Cantina and we will change the pricing structure for the first time in 15 years. But all the current members will stay onboard until their membership is up.

I was able to take my Bonne Belle rear fender to the team at Rock and Roll Custom Paint. Randy, Dan and the crew have been through a great deal, but they are back in their old shop facility and going strong. You would not believe the size of this facility. He just about takes up the whole complex. It comes down to the notion that people who get shit done are a rare breed. Like the Klocks, or the small team at Brass Balls .

This week is going to be damn exciting, but I don’t want to talk about it, just do it.

Hang on,

–Bandit
