At Bikernet, we wanted to forward this recent note from Billy Lane to all his fans. Check it out.
Hello,
First, I wanted to thank you for signing up to receive updates about me and my site. I’m relatively new to social media, but I’m learning a lot about it and a lot from it. One of the things I’m learning from it is that I have an amazing amount of support from you. I’m grateful for your good comments and respect of my circumstances. I’ve spent the last nine months adjusting and working to get my feet firmly beneath me. Almost no travel allows me to accomplish quite a lot of work. My shop time is divided between building a couple of custom bikes and building 12 vintage race bikes for an annual event we’ll launch here in Daytona Beach next March.
Resources for a shop, open to the public, don’t exist yet. However, I’m working toward sharing with you, through Facebook and Instagram, more of the projects I have been focused on. I’d enjoy sharing some of these with you in person during the 75th Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in August or during the 75th Daytona Bike Week in March.
There’s more news in store, but that’s it for now. Thanks again for your support.
Billy
